We purchased a $7400 computer from ironside Oct 2021. It has a three year warranty. The computer started leaking at the fitting points of the water coolant system. My son caught the leaks as it happened no water damage anywhere, he was going to fix it himself, he is 21 and he builds computers. He put some lock tight on a small leaking areas. I looked to see if the computer was under warranty. It was So, I reached out to ironside computers. I explained the whole situation and the fact he put lock tight on a few of the leaking areas and sent them photos of the computer. They assured me that was fine and did not void the warranty. After speaking with them they sent me a shipping fee of which I paid and sent the computer in its own box, wrapped in another layer of packing and another box to make sure it would arrive safely The day we sent the computer he was using it to downloaded his important information off of it onto his build. We have proof with time stamps that is generated automatically. There was no leaks when we sent it and the water was drained They never contacted me that they received the computer so I called them. They said yes they have it and started working on it. Another three weeks go by and I call again and they say no worries everything is great they are waiting on the part to arrive from china. In the mean while I get an email asking for the windows password for the computer so I give it to them. Im assuming its done by now Another 2 weeks and I call them, now the whole situation has changed. They state they want us to pay $1000 or more to get it back. And that doesnt get it back as it was sent, he states with cheap parts and it may or may not be working I explained it was working fine when we sent it. Now, they state the warranty was void because of the locktite which they knew about or I wouldnt have sent it. And the computer was working or they wouldnt have needed the password. They say it needs a whole new build? We need help please.
