    I have used this company for several years. They always file my personal taxes as well as business taxes to include my non-profit organization and LLC. As usual I asked for my taxes for 2023 to be filed. I recently received a notice from the *** that my non profit organization has not submitted taxes for 2023. When I contact the company there solution was an email that stated: Please take this as our notice of disengagement, our workload can no longer accommodate your taxes. We advise that you find yourself a local accountant to help you with your taxes.Thank you for your patronage over the years.Sincerely,**** ******, CPA EA First, they did not address the issue as to why my taxes did not get filed. Secondly, I never received a copy of my taxes for 2023. I had no idea that the taxes had not been filed and even till this day upon several request have not received a copy of my 2023 taxes.

    As Ms. ******** stated in her complaint, she has been our client for many years. We have prepared her individual taxes including 2023 tax return for a fee. In the past, we had helped her to file her nonprofit report free of charge. Unfortunately, we can no longer provide such a service for her. A copy of her 2023 individual tax return was uploaded to our secure client platform on 02/14/2024 for her access (see attachment A, a screen shot). Subsequently, at her request, we sent her another copy by email on 11/12/2024.

     In the past, we have never charged Ms. ******** to file her non-profit tax for her nor have we charged her to file her companies' Franchise tax with the state of *****. When she complained about the non-filing, we explained to her that we had helped her out in the past but could no longer do that for free. In the past, we have prepared these taxes (non-profit tax and franchise tax) for her as a favor, free of charge. We did not plan to continue filing these taxes for free year after year as they are separate from individual tax filing. Ms. ******** falsely claimed that she paid us to prepare the additional taxes. We have asked her for proof of such payments, but she has been unable to produce such payments.

    We made a business decision to sever our relationship because we felt she will be better served with a firm in her locality.
