    From my interactions with the management, it became evident that they are accustomed to dealing with individuals who may not have alternative options. However, I want to caution others about their practices. Specifically, I had an unfortunate encounter with ****, the manager, who displayed bullying behavior, insisting that I accept her terms or have no terms at all. Based on my personal encounter, I firmly believe that this place operates as a scam. It is my hope that by sharing this review, others can be informed and make more informed decisions when considering engaging with this establishment.

    I rented an apartment in 2018 at Sonterra Heights. In 2022 I gave the required notice of move out. I was finally sent a corrected final statement showing my deposit was due back to me. I have received no further communication in regard to the return of my deposit. The apartment complex and their managing agent have not returned any emails or phone calls.

    Hello, through investigation in our accounting department- On June 2nd when we received contact from *************************, they found that the first check issued April 24th was sent but not yet cashed, this was then voided and reissued on June 2nd to the correct address provided by ******************. This address being *******************************************************************************. This was communicated to ****************** by email as well as stating to reach out to ** if she does not receive the payment. I have not received another email from ******************. I have attempted to call ****************** several times but it goes straight to voicemail. Our office is open during business hours for her to discuss this with us anytime if she would like to call, come in, or send us an email. Thank you, and please let us know if you have any more questions.

    On October 25th, 2022, I filed a complaint in regards to our microwave going out and a strange smell coming from it. My wife and I have a 6 month old, we have been unable to heat up her bottles or her baby food because of this microwave going out. The property manager told us it would take 2-3 days for the microwave to come in. We checked in again on October 28th, we stilled had not received the microwave and they said it should be here Monday. Well Monday came and went we followed back up with them again on Tuesday, November 1st, they said they were no longer sure when it would be replaced, at this point we were not only frustrated, but highly disappointed. We asked for an accommodation in the mean time by taking a microwave from an empty unit or letting us purchase the same exact one locally and deducting the amount from our rent so that we could give our baby warm milk and food. **** the property manager said that giving our child warm food wasn't an emergency and we would just have to wait for the microwave. I went back into the office today, November ********** was just told that they haven't even ordered the microwave yet, she also reiterated her views on our child that we can feed our baby cold food and that it will make her a better person later in life. At this point we feel taken advantage of and we just want to get out of this lease if the apartment is being this hostile to us as tenants with a newborn.
