1 starHVAC water flooded floor. USAA response? We will send out an excellent company who will thoroughly look at your HVAC to diagnose the problem. Let me **nfirm that their third party company is apparently an investigations company. And trust me when I say, they arent the experts USAA claims they are.I was told the 1st flood was due to a small drip from the **ils. Thought this was sketchy. Put a plastic **ntainer under the **ils and it would take months to fill up the pan not a few days.Oh, and the next day, the water leakage moved from the pan, dry as can be, to the floor. I call USAA in a panic to help. Im told there is no supervisor to speak with and that Ill have to talk to the original adjuster, whom I just left a message for. They dont work on weekends. So, I am forced to either try and hire an **** ** Kanu or wait till Monday and hope my entire hi We doesnt flood.After 23 years of being with UsaA, I had a customer agent start yelling at me because I pushed on who can I talk to there to get help.What is home insurance for when they dont work On the weekends except bored phone agents who will start yelling at you in a time of ********* soon as I get this situation fixed with the md and water stains **ming from my roof, and my hvac looked at by an u biased company, I will be leaving USAA. Note, they were fabulous years ago. Im not sure if its because my husband and I divorced and he was the military. Maybe USAA discriminates. They do not take care of veterans families. They are dishonest and not there for you when you need them. Last, their wonderful hvac company is nothing more than a hired denial company for USAA.!This company should be investigated.Review fromMALVIN R

1 starI had a horrible customer service experience with ********************** auto **********************. I tried to reduce the coverage on 1 of 3 cars to save some money but the faulty USAA insurance premium calculator made the overall 3-car cost go up by about $300 a year such that I would have to pay more for less coverage. After over 11 weeks (5/27 to 8/15/2025) and over 9 hours on the phone they did nothing to fix this. 3 supervisors, a manager and a director all said there was something wrong with the calculator and promised to take care of the problem but never got back to me and never did anything. I finally wrote to USAA Member Relations whose advocate named ******* said that there was nothing wrong with their calculator so the matter was closed. I got an email from the USAA president **** ******* soliciting comments on customer service using his email address. My email to him simply resulted in him turning the issue back over to ******* who again was adamant that nothing was wrong with their calculator.Review fromZandy F

They completely lie about everything. **************** is c*** Have been paying ********************** for years claim haven't had insurance since 2022 because we tried to switch insurance companies. 1 starUSAA Banking and all their services are obsurd, dishonest, and disgusting the way they treat their vets!!! My father had fraud on his account, theres zero accountability from them, zero information given, zero investigation actually taken place. Thousands of dollars stolen and cant even get a manager on the phone to help assist you with ANYTHING. ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. DONT KNOW HOW THEYRE STILL IN BUSINESS. 1 starAbsolutely horrible insurance to deal with. They never answer the phones (except for some type of admin), they never call back, and they never update you on your claims. I was told my claim had a resolution on 8/11/2025 by the admin, but the adjuster wouldnt answer my calls, wouldnt email me, wouldnt even send me the resolution.Review fromTimothy W

1 starI would rate lower if I couldI recently established a checking and savings account on behalf of my father who is prior military. My father lives out of state and he has Parkinsons and dementia in which he requires help. His account was established with a *** and shortly after we all disconnected I established my account as well. I spoke with a ***resentative and he took care of everything for me. I have three older siblings who was getting there account established around the same time of week as us. I called a day or so later and spoke with another ***resentative to opened my checking and savings account up which was successfully done. I was guided by a *** to set up my mobile app in which I did. My father used my email to receive communication from USAA when creating his account. I got his welcome emails and I received an email and I noticed his spelling of his name was spelled incorrectly. I did not have a chance to call it in until a day or so later but in the meantime I received a email about my address being updated?? I never called nor changed my contact information! I checked my mobile app which I could not log into any longer and had me call a phone number. I called in and was told that there was nothing that could be told to me and that it looks like my account was closed?? So of course being confused and angry especially just opening a new account with you all just to have it closed for no reason at all. I was told fraudulent activity was going on but I still dont have a clue nor can speak to someone to resolve this! I called over eight times and wasted so much time during work hours and no work hours to be told absolutely nothing! AND you all have my money that I started my checking and savings with just to be told it will be mailed at some point!!??? Ive NEVER had a banking institution treat me in this manner or involved with such clueless employees. Sad part is me and my father and sisters are ALL going through the same thing with you all!USAA

1 starUSAA claims to love and take care of their military veterans, and current military people. Boy is that a lie!!! We have been with them since 2002 with only 3 claims in that whole time. We just found today 2025 that they will no longer cover our home because it is a manufactured home. Thanks for nothing USAA, we will be moving all of our vehicles as well. USAA doesn't care about the military people at all!!! Not to mention how much they don't like the people of ********!!!USAA

1 starI would leave zero stars of I could. I have been a USAA member/customer for decades. A *********** woman made a left turn directly into my car and totaled my car. Her insurance company, ****, has accepted responsibility. Foolishly, I decided to have USAA handle the claim. They have offered me a completely low ball number for my totaled Tesla S that was loaded with options and had free lifetime supercharging, based on two "comps". Neither of the cars they listed had the same options or lifetime supercharging. It has been nearly impossible getting my adjuster, *******, on the phone, so I have to leave her messages through the app and the process is taking forever. She lists her supervisor, **** ********* as a contact if I am unhappy with her service- I have called and left Mr. ********* two messages without a response. When I call, the only way to get a live person is to say that it is a new claim. I did this and the persone with whom a spoke, Shavela, listened and then transferred me to **** *********** voicemail- a 30 minute waste of my time. This is the worst possible service one could get from a company that I have been associated with for over 30 years. I will start looking for another insurance company- absolutely shameful customer service.USAA

1 starUSAA is a shadow of what they once were. Ive been with them for over 12 years (************ and now my ************** Time and again, theyve failed me. My auto insurance rates went up despite no changes on my end. When I asked for a match to cheaper rates I found elsewhere, they refused, so I switched to Geico.I kept my homeowners policy. I had damage to three steps leading into my kitchen, leaving a gap where pests could enter from outside. I got a $4k repair quote and filed a claim. The adjuster, ******** *******, seemed dismissive from the start. I told him I didnt know the causepossibly water, but Im no expert. He seized on water damage and said it wasnt covered. After I pushed back, they sent two third-party companies. One specialized only in water detection and found no water damage.Despite this, USAA denied my claim, saying it was earth movement caused by humans, animals, or naturewithout proper investigation. This delay, cost me over a month of waiting while pests remained, endangering my son, who has serious health issues. I told ******** ******* this, but he coldly denied the claim.Its disheartening that a $50B company would rather spend money to deny my claim than help a loyal veteran. They proudly thank me for my service on calls, but it feels hollow. I wasnt asking for muchpocket change for thembut their actions left me in a worse situation. I can no longer recommend USAA to fellow service members.USAA
