Good afternoon i have been trying to get a fraudulent account off my credit report since march 2019 with Farm Bureau Bank . i have contacted the Federal Trade Commision back in 2019 and in May 2023 trying to get issued resolved. i have done what i was asked to do being contacted Federal Trade Commisiom, the ***** All the credit ******** and made a police report as well . i have requested from Farm Bureaui Bank a copy of the credit app and the contract or any paperwork showing where i applied for this credit card and i have yet to recieve anything from them . i have disputed this account over 30 times and cant get anything done .Also after a account has been closed or charged off for 7 years its supposed to be removed off my credit file off all credit bureaus and it has not . Now they have given the account to another collection agency which is illegal especially since its not my account and i dint sign any contract or credit application for a card, the balance went from $8542 to over $11,600 dollars. This has cost me to be turned down for a home loan for the last 7 years and now its starting over again..i am requesting this be removed from my credit within the next 7 days from all bureaus or i am going to speak with a comsumer credit attorney. this has gone on long enough . i would appriciate your help with this please. if you have any questions please call me at ************Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
Just because I got an auto loan I never approved for you to send me a credit card nor did I apply for one. If I was automatically approved thats fine too but I didnt charge the card or accept it. By law on an unsecured debt or a credit card if there is not a signed credit application and some identification shown I am not responsible for the debt. Also it has to be removed off my credit after 7 years from time account was opened and its has been 7 years. Legally it has to be removed and cant stay on my credit as a charge off or collection with a third party again they dont have a signed contract or application for the credit card. And why would I get a ****** dollar auto loan and pay it perfect but not a credit card thats stupid. Im not going to pay you for something I didnt charge up or ask for and if you dont remove it Im going to have to take legal action and this has messed me up from buying a house etc for all these years so its up to you to do whats right. I have gotten an identity theft report and a police report and taken the steps I was suppose to to have this removed years ago and still here we are. Look forward to hearing back from you and this is my last attempt before seeking legal action.

I received my credit card bill **** farm bureau bank and there are 1401 dollars in purchases in ********** and ******** in January 2024 that I did not authorize.. I have been trying to contact the bank and their phones are temporarily out of order. I have sent 3 letters to them, 2 were notarized and sent certified mail. After talking with their secuity department and correcting a problem. I was advised that Card is in good standing with no standing issues. Yet sometimes it is rejected when I want to make a purchase and sometimes it goes thru without any issues. I want the problem fixed and talking to them doesn't seem to fix the problem.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: They may use a 3rd party for security but they are still responsible when they mess up. There has not been any fraud on my account. Since the card was rejected a few times, after the first time it was rejected I used a different credit card, and advised them I did not authorize a 2nd charge because I did not want a dupicate charges. It is noted that 2 or 3 times that 3rd party security claimed they had fixed the issue, which was just ************ Also noted that until I filed a complatint with the BBB nothing was fixed. Currently everything is working normally.

On 9/14/22, Farm Bureau give me a check and paperwork to purchase a UTV. My interest rate and payment plan, approved. I was so proud! I went to pick the unit up 9/15/22, it was a 2.5 hour trip one way to the dealer. I was told at the office not to touch or edit anything, or it would be voided. The dealer had to complete the rest. So I place it in an envelope for the dealer to finish. Now the dealer had already send Farm Bureau the bill of sales and all the required information a few days before picking the unit up. Farm Bureau agent said the approval and check was ready. Interest rate was ****%. So we gladly went to purchase and pick up the unit. I gave the financial manager the check and paperwork to fill out "the check had the wrong Dealer Name! " This was on a Thursday. I call my agent and told them what happened. I was told another check would need to be printed which would take sometime. I ask the agent about letting the dealer financial it but only if they could refinance and get this mistake corrected. I was told it was their mistake and it would not be a problem refinancing since it was new and 2022 and the interest rate would be the same. The next week, I send the ***************** name and payoff to Farm Bureau along with all the requested information. I receive the message from the F.B. agent that everything was good and they were waiting on the check to be reprinted. I waited and waited. I call the agent and called the agent and heard the same thing waiting for the authorization of check. Then the agent send me a message stating everything was good, check was send to the other financial company for a payoff . My interest was at ****% and my payments starting 12/01/22. I was very happy. Couple days later the agent call and said Farm Bureau said the *************** had raised interest rates and since it was now 45 days since I applied interest rated was now ****%. I been waiting on them all this time. I think they held my check until rates increase.Business Response

I have applied for a performance checking account three times , the first application was on September 7 , 2022 and the most recently on was on October 10, 2022, I was initially told by a farm bureau bank agent that they never received the deposit therefore the application was cancel but come to find out that the information I gave on my application doesnt match the information from a third party vendor which therefore all my applications (3) where cancel without any correspondence what so ever! Its like I was treated like trash with no respect, all my life I have applied for checking/ savings accounts and never had any issues opening *** accounts and went so many verification processes with no issues, not sure if the third party vendor was ***** nexus so I may contact them to verify and or correct the matter. Not only did I felt disrespected and felt like my business was wanted!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: this is Ridiculous stating that my Social Security number is showing up as Deceased without showing me any proof from the social security administration! I was also told by one of the representatives that its was information from my Lexinexis report that wasn't matching!Farm bureau bank isn't being transparent!My driver license and social security number are valid and I am very much alive!
Never in my life I had any issues opening up a savings or checking including this year!
