I purchased 2014 LandRoverRangeRoverSportHSE 3.9.24 i test drove it.it ran fine noticed that the a/c wasnt blowing cold.was also a motor light on. i asked for code reader gave a code regarding the heater/ heating element. CarlGM/Owner said he can go closest ******* for coolant and see if that would fix it. It did. He then said he would like me to take the vehicle to the shopwho do all the inspections before placed on the lot . 3 days later 03.12.24 hose was replaced at the masters lube and tune up.when arriving back to my town Cuero 126 miles away the low coolant light came on. hadnt had it but 3 days.he told me drive it back to the shop i refused. a week passes and i start the vehicle and was told by him and the shop as it has coolant its drivable. filled it up with the correct coolant did errands for 5 more days, ran day 5 only 3 blocks car shut off on me with no indicators, no sensor made me aware. white smoke started to come out of the hood. i called the shop owner immediately and **** who i had to leave a vm with bc it was after hours and they said for me to tow it up there but at my expense. March 27th the day after it shut off it arrived by trailor. the extended warranty i bought didnt cover anything bc it wasnt internal i paid out of pocket to get this fixed where they resurfaced the head gaskets and other repairs and cleaned the motor. spent over *******. And was told June ******* to pick it up that it was test driven for many miles and running for a couple hours and its ready to go. i paid the remainder which was ******* got it on the interstate and within 10mikes the vehicle shut off on me. I then called the shop owner and he brought his tech out and after being on the dangerous freeway for over 2 hours i called a tow truck and got it towed at my expense again! the next day was called and told engine is locked up nothing we can do. no one will help me at either location they work hand in hand with people. They are all a network of scammers.

In March of this year, ************** purchased a 2014 Range Rover from us. The vehicle was purchased "as is". She brought someone with her to inspect the vehicle and counsel her on the purchase. After the customer took the Range Rover home, she called the dealership stating that she was having issues with it. She was asked if she could take it a shop in ***** but she said she could not find one there. She was then asked to have it towed to a mechanic shop in *** Antonio. She said that she would. At no time was she told by anyone here that the vehicle should continue to be driven. She missed several appointments with the mechanic, each time saying she would get it over there soon. By the time it was finally taken there, she had caused damage to the vehicle. A claim was filed with the warranty that she purchased with her transaction, but the warranty company denied the claim, stating that the damage was caused by neglect. She even mentioned in her complaint that she continued driving the vehicle even after knowing that there was an issue with it.

I am rejecting this response because:
Its not a resolution. the person i brought with me was another female and my boss at the time. She has no knowledge at all in vehicles. They saw an opportunity to take advantage of myself due to me being a woman. I also never had the sellers guide that is supposed to be placed onto the car window i never received any of that info in the documents i have for this purchase either stating that it was as is. i do know that we have in the contract a statement about arbitration. i am trying to come up with a resolution. and I in fact was told to take the vehicle by driving it bc i requested **** to tow it and that wasnt going to happen per your partner. also I never missed any appointments. as a single mother of three and sole provider with now and at the time no vehicle the arrangements made between myself and the dealership you picked were whenever it was convenient for me to get it towed up there. with **** refusing to help get it up there i had to pay an over $400 tow bill, miss work and eventually due to the car issue i was let go from my previous employer. and in fact they did say it was due to neglect as i also stated but thats also in their contract they said due to too many people being neglectful in situations like that but with my vehicle being so new to me and fresh off of heritage autos lot that there was in fact an underlying contusion that CAUSED IT that underlying condition happened to be the water pump which busted and the sensors working when they wanted too to actually cause the overheating and the engine to fail.

On the application that was filled out, she misrepresented her employment status. She stated that she was a full time employee, but she was a temp employee. This caused the bank to decline the approval. Before she returned the car, she had an accident. She admitted that the accident occurred when she was driving the car. After we told her we would need to get an estimate so we could repair the damage, she offered to repair the damage to the car and even filed a claim with her insurance. We told her (on the 1st, not the 2nd), that if and when the damage was repaired, the remaining $400 would be refunded. At this time, no one from her insurance department has come to inspect the car.

I purchased a car July 30, 2022. Before I gave them any money I asked if there were any cosmetic or mechanical issues and he said no. They still had to inspect/service it, but he assured me they would make sure it was safe to drive and any issues the car had would be resolved. I had put $1,600 down total. I made my first payment on August 19th. They did not let me pick up the car until about 3 weeks after I purchased the vehicle. The next day I drove it and as I reached 65 mph a drivetrain malfunction appeared on the screen. 3 lug nuts were missing from the rear driver side wheel and 1 was missing from the right rear passenger side wheel and there were bubbles in all the tires too. The driver side door also made a noise when closing. I contacted the dealership and they agreed to get the malfunction and tires checked out. They sent it to their mechanic. The door needed a part that was expensive and they did not want to pay for that. I was told that the tires passed inspection. They did not look at them again, they told me they passed inspection the first time. I asked the mechanic about the tires and I was told there is no way those tires would have passed inspection because they could have blown out at any time which made the car unsafe to drive. They sent the car to a mechanic shop called ************ off ******************* in San Antonio, *****. The car was at the shop for 2+ months and I contacted the mechanic directly for any updates because the dealership could not give me any. After the first month I was told by the dealership that I could pick up the car. I went to the shop and they had not looked at it yet. I spoke with the dealership and they began looking at the car after that. When they moved the car, the front passenger tire cracked and would no longer hold air. I had to fix that so they could work on the vehicle. The mechanic said an oil leak was causing the drivetrain malfunction. The dealership agreed to take care of the oil leak and nothing more. I asked that they fix the oil leak and anything else I would have to pay for, not to do it because I would take care of it myself. I also asked for paperwork and documents stating what was wrong with the vehicle and they said they were not allowed to provide those to me. After another month and half I was able to pick up the car. At this point the dealership was asking me to pay for the fix and I said no, because I never agreed to that, then they asked me to pay at least half. I refused again because I had never agreed to that and finally they resolved the issue. I picked up the car and parts were missing. There was a box of screws and bolts on the passenger side floor, the battery cover was not put on, under the hood some hoses and air vacuum were not put on, the negative ground bolt was missing, clamps were missing amongst other things. I began to drive the car back home and the power steering went out. It stayed parked at home until we could get it towed to a different shop. While it was parked, I replaced the battery because the car would not start, turn over, and none of the lights would turn on. The shop I took it to looked at it right away and ran a diagnostic test. They were able to get the lights to turn on as well. The car is going to cost way more than the car is worth to fix. I drove it for a few days total and have been unable to drive it since I dropped it off at the dealership days after I bought it. I have tried to get a statement from the shop they sent it to and I was told that they were not allowed to release any of that information to me and have since stopped taking my calls or messages.

The car was purchased from a local auction, and every car we purchase from that auction it goes through a post sales inspection (psi) before delivering the vehicle to the dealership. Any major issues are found during this inspection. Upon delivery to us, we also do an inspection for more minor issues. When ****************** initially came in, we explained to her that the vehicle still needs to go through this inspection.Once it was completed, she came and picked up the car. Some time after picking the car up, she called and said she was having some issues with the vehicle so we advised her to take the vehicle to one of the mechanic shops we use, and they discovered an oil leak, which we agreed to take care of, wanting to keep a good customer experience with us , even though the car was sold AS IS.

She was communicating with the shop directly because she knew one of the mechanic who works there and without our knowledge, started asking for additional things to be done. She told the shop that she would pay for those additional things directly, but when she picked it up she refused to pay for anything. We wound up paying for the additional items. The vehicle had ***** miles when she bought it, the vehicle has ****** once she dropped it off, saying that she no longer wanted it. The car was driven almost a **** mile after she took delivery.

We have been in contact with *******************. She said that the issue with the vehicle was the alternator. We got a quote for the cost of the repair, which we are paying for. This is currently being taken care of at a shop of her choosing.

Dealer was instructed that consumer was prequalified through *********** and instructed dealer to not run credit to any other financials institutions in order to not incur unnecessary credit hard pulls. Dealer disregarded written and verbal directives and as a result consumer has sustained multiple hard inquires resulting in credit being adversely affected. Finance manager was uninterested in consumers grievance when notified and informs consumer that he was not informed by sales person but consumer feels used car sales finance manager was not being genuine and believe its their protocol to run credit to multiple companies in an attempt to offer other financing that best suits the dealer. Consumer has saved correspondence that instructs dealer to not run credit to any other agencies other than *********** bank as this was the prequal the consumer was qualified for prior to contact and informed dealer multiple times verbally and in writing so no misunderstanding could occur. The finance manager was unapologetic and displayed a demeanor that he is above the law.
