Asked Marco to install a fake beam in my living room (to add ceiling fan). Was quoted $2,200 for the complete job which I paid in full. This contract was signed and paid in Feb 2024. It is now At gust and they will not answer the phone, I did contact ***** last Friday August 16th but I had to use a neighbors phone to get them to answer. I again asked about my refund and ***** said she would get back to me after she speaks to Marco. Not only has she not called me back, I cant get anyone to answer the phone.

Hired Marco to do some remodeling in Feb 2024. We set up a dat to start the job March 11th 2024.My mistake i paid half down ******** on my credit card. This was to add lights in kitchen, redo ceiling, add new counter tops and back splash. I purchased the lights, sink and disposal and new faucet as per their request. This was also to include one beam in Livingroom and add a ceiling fan, also a 8ft Trek fence in my front yard. I was told the kitchen would take two weeks. Needless to say in May i still did not have my kitchen done. No backsplash, counters Were unacceptable as they did not fit and Marco said he would be placed them. Also the paint did not match the wall paint to the ceiling. He was also going to repaint. I gave him many chances and he just stopped answering my phone calls. This was in May. During the process my mistake I wrote a check for $2200 to do the beam in my kitchen. He said I would get a refund I never did. Also, I paid ******* And another 995 because he needed supplies.Total paid $9986.89. My fence was only 4ft and made of cedar instead of Trek. My livingroom **** he said i would get refunded but havent. I have since had to get another contractor to replace the countertops, he put in and give me a backsplash. *** missed a lot of work my husband missed work and doctors appointments which wouldve been fine,If we actually got a finished project but being I had to hire somebody else and mind you they did it all in a week. I did not have to miss work. Now i had to pay the second contractor. My husband and I are both Seniors citizens, I have a full-time job and a part-time job and my husband has a part-time job. I was trying to upgrade my house a little bit and I understand the cost is expensive, but I feel they didnt do anything and they just took my money and it takes me a very long time to make that kind of money. I feel taken advantage of. I have been very depressed. The idea people and companies can do this is just unreal.

In Oct 2023 KRE led by Marco Rodriguez with employees *****************************, and *********************** used a Contract Proposal to renovate our home extending the Kitchen, redoing the master bath, and add a closet for $47,800. Marco wanted 50% up front so my wife gave him $22,900 to begin work. Marco did demolition of the kitchen/bath and the requested payment for Demo finishing at $2,900. Marco never continued any other work. For 7 months we have no water or electricity for half the house. There is no kitchen or master bath just a temporary wall. It is not a home. Marco never got permits, never got a Contracting license for the work in ********* **, *********** Contacting license doesnt even show up in their database. He never got engineering drawings and wanted us to get the permits. Something doesnt add up. Having retired from the Navy after 20 years I was hoping to return to the hill country but I cant with the house being destroyed. Upon request of repayment he says he doesnt have the money and wants to do payments over a 6 month period provided we sign a Non Disclosure agreement to write no reviews, do not involve the government, and maybe we will get our money back. All communication has ceased and ********* who referred him and gives him 4.5 stars says there is nothing they can do. This is theft and fraud!
