      not a good business to do business with. I just wish I had not opened my bank account with. them, when there are so many banks in my town. The manager was indifferent to me, I noticed. this every single time I walked in. A teller made an terror. the service was very slow and I would be standing in line. The energy in the bank was just very negative that I couldn't take it anymore. I should have closed it on day two, instead of waiting for a year.

      Horrible bank especially when it comes to getting a new card mail to you. I've ordered two cards in the past 3 months the first one never arrived, second one took a whole month to arrive after being told it would take 7-10 business days. So I got a new bank and now its a big problem to transfer my money. So glad Im done with this bank horrible all the way around. From service to loans

      If you are looking for an auto loan, I would highly recommend NOT going with Security Service FCU. They don't allow you to pay online from a company account (I was told because they are so big, the **** doesn't allow this). When you receive a call from *****, it's an autodial and you have to wait on hold until an actual person. Last time they called me, I waited on hold for almost 5 minutes to speak to a live person. Seems like everything they do is antiquated and apparently they tell their employees to blame it on the ****. I will be switching my auto loan to a different credit union.

      ***** they are not part of the BBB. I've been a customer since **************************** wrong. I applied for a Home Equity Loan. They signed me up for a *****. I had never heard of a HELOC. I kept saying Home Equity Loan and she kept saying HELOC. I started to think that it must be a fancy short name so she wouldn't have to keep saying Home Equity Loan. As many times as I said it and as many times as I said I wanted to pay off the current loan from a home improvement that had high interest and she still didn't get it and didn't make sure I understood what she was having me sign. I trusted they knew better and would take care of me since I was a long time customer. Next few months the interest rates kept varying and I asked why and they never answered. Life happened, by now 2 years later, I am reading the contract and I understand it to say the rate would stay the same for a year, but that's not what happened. So, this person isn't able to know when a customer doesn't understand the contracts and didn't bother to explain. She just wanted her bonus for signing me up. I finally went into a depression but, I will fix this, get away from them and leave this bank. Not worth doing business with. I've asked for a copy of recording that initiated contact and ***** Marie **** can't seem to supply it nor have they sent me my signed copy of the contract.

      I have been a member since 1982, have had several vehicle loans, personal loans never missed a payment & all paid in full. This time(2024) I requested a refinance on a vehicle and it was approved with STIPULATIONS. What a slap in the face. I went through another financial institution & guess what they refinanced my vehicle with a lower interest rate. I am in the process of moving all my accounts to another bank as well. So much for loyalty to long time customers.

      Their staff are blatantly anti American. I will never do business with them again and will actively push people to more politically neutral options.

      ******** customer **********************! They keep locking my account because of fraudulent activities? When all Im doing is paying friends back for the last time they locked my account through third party apps. I was told several times I would get a phone call to get my account back online. It never happened! This has been happening since Friday, its now Monday night and Im still without cash! My drafts for my bills were also sent back because of this! Now Im behind on bills and no money to buy groceries or gas!!

      We are thinking switching to different credit union. Not happy and mostly stressed dealing with some issues at their end! Many times we called and almost every time we tell them from the start. I dont know if they do notes at their end. We are just waiting for timing to closed our accounts from them. We are with almost 10yrs.

      I would be extremely careful interacting with this bank. I had to take over my mothers account due to illness with a POA. Multiple people at the union requested I send my photo id and Social ********************** over email. This would be plain text and anyone could hack it or see it. They offered my zero security options even after I asked multiple times. I finally had to set up my own encrypted account and send them the information.

      **** into office to pay off my loan to make sure everything was right. Over 2 weeks later I called to see where my pay off letter was. Spoke with ******* said they mailed it off the 6th day after pay off. Conveniently it probably got lost in the mail. SSFCU is notorious for this. Highly unprofessional. Will do my next loan through Navy Federal
