We did not bill for services that were not done. I was in contact with United Healthcare Dental to inform them that no claim was submitted. On our end a preauthorization was submitted from our office and on united healthcare side it came in as a claim and it was paid to our office. United healthcare wanted me to submit a corrected claim but there was no claim on our end to correct as I had originally submitted a pre auth on our end. I submitted a letter saying no procedures were done and to request the funds accordingly. I have not heard back from United healthcare yet. Attached is the letter that was mailed to United healthcare dental on 10-3-23. Also attached is the pre auth that was submitted through NEA (our software that we use to submit claims and pre auth) Please let me know if you have any other further questions. Thank You!
