      They use cleaning products with lots of VOCs. It smells terribly. I left feedback for the service about the smell and about the poor cleaning of floors, and they were never addressed until I called back to speak to an agent. Once I spoke to the agent, they attempted to charge me more money for breaking my contract - which wasn't upheld by ******* NOT USE MERRY MAIDS.

      This branch is poorly ran and has extremely deceptive business practices. They made an unauthorized charge to my card of $680 in error, and will deny portions of conversations you had with them. Ive asked multiple times to speak with a manager and have yet to be called back. As you can tell by their aggressive responses to customer complaints, customer service is not their concern. As other reviews mention, their cancellation policy is vague and nearly impossible to find. Ive never been more relieved to no longer do business with a company.

      This is not a very trustworthy business. They charged my credit card for a charge of $350 after I have stopped the service. Make sure to check your credit card for unauthorized charges by them. The cleaning team is not very professional. It's casual cleaning and they charge a lot.Stay away from this team. The management is hopeless and they scam you.I will file legal complaint against this company 1. Unauthorized charge of $350 on my credit card 2. For the manager to barge into my house without my permission and changing terms of cleaning. ---

      SCAM! SCAM! First cleaning was great, team was great even the second team was great. However, you are required to sign an Agreement- which is fine as it guarantees them 10 cleanings. Now- I must provide a 30 day notice to cancel after the 10 mediocre cleanings. Which actually isnt mentioned on Page 4 or anywhere after I did my set # of cleanings There is constantly a new team coming in my house - some just skip the cleaning and hope you dont notice because they dont speak a word of English. And some teams misplace items that you never find again. All of these things are not in worth me calling and complaining 10 times. After dealing with *************************** I will never use this service again. I was contacted on a weekend before my last clean to move my cleaning day - wasnt able to. I also asked if it was the end of my contract as we are moving due to a military move but they want to play games. When I sent an email (after my cleaning day) and after this text exchange, ** told I need to do a 30 day notice when it was not mentioned 3 days prior. If it was mentioned, I would have budgeted and made plans for 1 last clean. However, ******* FAILED to mention it and just requested an email I understand there is protocol, but if someone tells you they dont want your services anymore- I held up my end of my contract and notified you of my cancellation after my 10 cleaning service was complete not before. I paid for 10 cleanings. Not 11 not 12, I needed 10 biweekly cleanings - they are completed. Your services are no longer needed. If I want to cancel, then cancel.Now theyve tried to run my debit card for $567 and $367 and then send it to collections. Well I guess they want some problems now. TDRL: Dont waste your time with this company. While some of the cleaners are great - it is not worth the hassle. Find a small business owner in your neighborhood who will take the time and effort to clean thoroughly without the headache.

      To Whom It May *********** ****** ******** 1.The customer never contacted us with any complaints about the service she was receiving since we started the service. We knew nothing about the complaints until Mrs.****** needed to cancel the service. We, Merry Maids, guarantee our service 100%. We send emails and texts after each service is completed. We encourage our customers to know to send ** feedback. Mrs. ****** has failed to give us feedback since she started her cleanings. Please see the screenshot of the agreement. 1.SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. If You are not satisfied with our cleaning of Your house, please contact ** within 24 hours and we will make arrangements to re-clean the area of concern without charge. Our sole obligation is to re-clean the area of concern until You are reasonably satisfied with our work. 2.Cancellation, per our agreement, we must have a 30-day written cancellation. We explained that to Mr.******. The day she called and refused to listen to our conversation about the policy and wanted to do it on her terms. As per their military orders, we ask all our military customers to send ** their military orders so we can send that to our cancellation department. They will be the ones bypassing the cacellation notice and the fees. She refuses to send us all the information. We couldnt explain that Mrs.******, due to how she was using profanities towards ** on the phone, it was tough even to explain the details and policies. It was a simple request that could have avoid all of this, But Mrs.****** declined to send us that documents. Therefore there is a cancellation penalty, and until this day, if they could send us that information, we could still work with the cancellation fees, but again they refused to. See paragraph 4 of the 2nd page of the agreement. 4.Cancellation: You must provide thirty (30) days notice (Cancellation Notice) if you desire to cancel your recurring cleanings. If you cancel without the Cancellation Notice, you will be charged a Cancellation Fee of the Recurring Cleaning Price. 3.Each sales representative explains to our new customers to read our agreement before signing if they have any questions, always call **. We are more than happy to assist our customers with their questions.
