My son and I went to buy a car that we had inquired about when we got there the salesman kept trying to show us other cars and wasting my time. I finally said where is the car we want to look at I am not signing anything until we see the car. He finally went and got the sales manager. Someone was driving that car until theirs got delivered. We drove 3 hours to look at this car, and he knew that. We asked numerous times about it and they disregarded the ask. The other part was the dealership was going to charge me an additional fee to fix damage on a car that is advertised as "Toyota Gold Certified." Also charge me $2,700 dollars for the Certification. I spoke with an owner (I personally know, and one of his top salesman of a Toyota dealership in a different town.) He said to be "Toyota Gold Certified" the car cannot have damage, and the certification only cost about $500. So we passed on this car and went to another dealership and wrote a check for a 2022 with ****** less miles. My son has worked hard to save HIS money for a car and this dealership tried to rip him off. They wasted a majority of our day after driving 3 hours to purchase a vehicle that they knew we were coming to see and let someone take it off the lot, and then tried to sell us something else. ********* D you are the true definition of a used car salesman.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They said they fixed my tail gate actuator but, when I checked it was still not operational sent it back said it was a bad fuse. then the service writer **** when I asked why didn't the first tech check his work he started gaslighting me telling me, it was intermediate and I might have put too much of a load ie. "A computer charger" And when I asked if they checked amps , resistance , good ground, or corrosion he ,got all defensive and rude, saying "we are beating a dead horse" . I do not recommend this dealership.

My **** Toyota 4 Runner was having some electrical wiring issues. Parked at my house front yard, squirrel got under the hood again to make a nest and chewed away couple of wires after a same problem 4 days ago when the same problem happened, I took the vehicle to a near by auto-electrical workshop for a repair. They repaired and fixed the problem at a cost of $289. Then I thought it is over, but again after 4 days the stupid squirrel did the same thing, chewed away couple of wires. I couldn't take back to the same mechanic as their workshop was relocated to a different place. So, I toed the truck to Alamo Toyota "so called Toyota dealer". The day when I left, the service agent named "*********************" told me that he would let me know about the cost of repair on Monday after mechanic takes a look. I remember, he also expressed, "wow, still a good looking car" when I dropped off. On Monday, he texted me couple of videos with cost of repairing each. For electrical portion only, it showed close to $6,000 to fix it, which I did in $289 at the first time. His all repair estimated cost was about $16,000. He called me to say, if I don't want to spend that much money, the mechanic wants to buy the car in $1,000. I didn't say "yes or no" or go ahead to repair, instead I went their after a few days to tow away my truck from the Alamo to a near by auto electrical workshop. They said it will cost me $289 (same as previously fixed cost). I was so relieved. Then I realized so called dealers abuse customers so much that whatever they throw the price, they think the customers have to accept it. If you decide not to do there, they will ask you to pay $190 diagnostic fee. But I refused to pay instead I argued with the manager, and I didn't pay. So, do not take your vehicle to such abusive dealers for a major repair unless otherwise it cannot be done outside. There are equally good auto workshops. It doesn't have to be this way.

Please do not trust this dealership; they will lie and scam you. Not only do they advertise a price online, they then violate the law and **** up the price after they get you in the door. If you're a minority or female, the price will be a higher cause thats the sick game this dealership plays. The finance department is just as bad as the sales **** and Erbin is a snake and a lier. This is why the managers can live in million dollar houses because of the rip of the customers off and the profits go into their pockets. Just look at all these reviews on BBB and Go somewhere else.

I had a written offer for my vehicle from a national Toyota dealership in ******* I called Alamo to see if they'd match the written offer if I agreed to purchase a vehicle from them that I'd seen online. They verbally agreed.I drove to *********** expecting to sell my vehicle and purchase one from them. Not only did they not match the offer (lowered it by $4,000). They then went into a low-brow used car sales bit. They refused to honor what they told me over the phone so I walked.Several days later I learned THEY ALSO RAN A HARD CREDIT INQUIRY ON ME BEFORE I SIGNED ANY PRICING SHEET.This hit my report and I received a letter on why they didn't approve me when I was the one who refused their deal. Not the other way around.
