On 02/06/2022 my son and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership. The vehicle is a 2016 Nissan Altima with ***** miles. ***** just two months of driving the vehicle, the transmission went out. ***** visiting the dealership and speaking with the Sales Manager ***********************, he attempted to put us in a different vehicle which was more expensive than the one we purchased with payments twice as much as the original one. On top of that, he was asking for more money for a down payment, on top of the $3000 deposit, we had made on the Nissan Altima. When we declined this offer, he had nothing else to say and walked away. Not once did he or the dealership management attempt to make this right. No one took ownership of the situation, no one worked with us to see how they could help repair the car free of charge. What hurts me the most is that my son could have been seriously hurt, when the car stalled on him at a busy intersection and he could have been rear-ended. I don't understand how these types of businesses that should focus on customer service, after selling us the vehicle, they are longer are pleasant, they no longer are helpful! I also attempted to reach out to General Manager ************************* and see if there was a way he could help us fix this problem, and all he did was ignore my messages. ***** doing my research, I found out that I had purchased some type of warranty for my vehicle, but when I asked if the warranty would cover the transmission, I was told that because of the mileage of the vehicle, it was no longer covered; However, they did offer a goodwill repair and I had to pay $2068 which is half of the transmission repair. I also found out that Nissan Altimas' older models tend to have faulty transmissions. I feel like I was deceived into buying a vehicle that ended up being a lemon, and the people who sold me the car, must have known about the history of the transmissions in these models.

      ****************,

First, I would like to start by saying I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you and your son have gone trough with this Altima on having to replace a transmission two months after your purchase. With that said I was the Manager who originally helped you, your son and your brother when you came in to discuss options on what could be done to help your family. I first offered to have your vehicle towed in so we could ***** the issue and get the car diagnosed by our techs, which you declined. We then proceeded to see if we could trade you and your son out of the Altima that was going to be a certified pre owned but I could not get to your budget due to the negative equity. Now, please keep in mind the whole time I was very polite and answered all your questions and offered options even though you signed an "as is" form and a "transportation special" form stating that if there is any issues or if any mechanical issue arises, Ancira is not responsible for the repair which I attached that documentation. Unfortunately, once I was unable to get to the payment that you were trying to get to and would not take any other vehicle other than that Altima I was able to find for your guys your brother proceeded to yell at me and several of the customers on the showroom and told them not to purchase from this dealership. Because I gave you two options first getting the vehicle towed to our dealership to get the car properly diagnosed by our Nissan certified techs, second getting a second vehicle two months from the date of purchase, and the unwillingness for you to not let me let me assist you and not to mention two separate disclosures informing you that this the Altima is completely as is there is nothing further we can do at this time.

I am rejecting this response because: Even though the vehicle was sold as is, the dealership did add a $2700  Security Plus Warranty that you failed to mention when we came in to the dealership the second time. If you would have told us we had this warranty, we could have reached out to them, instead of trying to get us into a more expensive vehicle. I also reject this response because after extensive research, it has been known that many Nissan vehicles have had bad faulty transmissions and as a Nissan sales person, you should have known of all the recalls and bulletins, as well as extended warranties being offered to consumers who have bought these lemon cars. Yes, the car was sold as is, but a transmission problem was not caused by lack of maintenance from the previous owner, as per the CarFax, it is a manufacturer defect and this you failed to explain when we came in again. If my brother shouted was because he was angry! It upset him very much the way we were treated and disrespected when we asked for your company to make this right.

      Regards,

I purchased 2022 Nissan Rogue sv on March 24, 2022. During the time of purchase, I was informed that Kahu/Lojack was installed on the vehicle and Dealership charged me $695 for the same. Next day, I called sales Person(*****) and asked for the activation code for Kahu/Lojack. At that time, ***** informed me that the device (Kahu/Lojack) is not installed on the vehicle, hence I would be getting refund of $695. I reached out multiple times regarding refund status and I am not getting an answer when I would be getting refund. Every time, dealership take my details and no one ever called me again.

Sorry for the delayed response I did not receive the first correspondence for the complaint. However after digging into our records do indicate that we did offer for ******************** to have a new device installed on his vehicle. But since he declined and the device was installed improperly Ancira will reimburse ******************** the cost of the lojack $695. I can have a check mailed but the end of the week. Please let me know if there is anything else need to get this issue resolved.

I purchased a used 2020 Nissan Altima from Ancira Nissan on 09/28/2021, total sales price was $38,151. After a few weeks of having the car I notices something wrong with the hood of the car and I informed my sales person but she said it was too late and there was nothing they could do about it because I didn't say anything at the time I picked up the car. I told her that I didn't noticed anything was wrong with it unless you look very closely and at a certain angle, so there was no way for me to tell when I was making the purchase. I just took my car to Nissan for the first time for maintenance and I asked the technicians to check the hood and the headlights because there is condensation inside the lights, the techs in the ************* told me that the car had been in a wreck and it had damage to the front. That information was not on the Carfax report but on 02/09/2022 I spoke with ***************** the used sales manager because I wanted him to look at the car, he did in fact said that the car looked like it had been in an accident and was repaired by someone and was not reported and that's why it wasn't in the carfax report. When he looked at the car he said that the car had been repaired and the front grill (hood) had been painted over and it was not the original and and the headlights were broken from inside the hood. He gave me a quote to get it repair and he said that was all he could do, the total with discounts is almost $1300. We have been customers and have purchased a lot of cars from them and I don't believe they inspected the car properly before they sold it. I don't think I should have to pay for something they neglected to check before they sold that car. I would like to get this resolved before my car starts to have major electrical or mechanical issues, $38k is a lot of money to me to be paying for something that's going to have problems in the future. I trusted the dealership and the sales people but I was wrong, they just wanted to make the sale.

***** at Ancira did a bait and switch on a used vehicle I purchased. All the photos had a tow package; the advertisement on the Ancira website said, in all caps in THREE different places, TOW PACKAGE no tow package. When I contacted *****, he said he pulled the intake service report and the tow package was removed, yet it was advertised and shown in photographs. To install a tow package is now going to cost me upwards of 400$. Then he pulled the well, I can only offer it at this price while Im receiving an email from his boss that has the price as $300 cheaper but did not see the email until I returned home. I will NEVER shop at Ancira again. I will not recommend it to my friends; I would highly recommend anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle to go somewhere else. These people are liars and cheats and swindlers. I called the ** and left a message 3 days ago but he has yet to return my call.

      ****************,

First and foremost thank you for choosing to do business with Ancira Nissan. With that said upon further review of your complaint there was no bait and switch with the tow hook. Yes the original online photo did have a tow hitch however going through service we felt it best to have the hitch removed because it was not properly installed. However before you ever arrived to the dealership my sales consultant ************************* sent you a walk around video that clearly shows that it did not have a tow hitch which I have attached  for your and the BBB to review. In addition when you came to the dealership, inspected the car in person, test drove the vehicle and took delivery of the vehicle it was not an issue. When it became an issue is when you received a notification about a price change on our advertised price from what you had originally inquired on of $6714 and it was reduced to $6458 after you had purchased the vehicle for an even lower price than you came in on for $6505. Completely understanding the frustration of receiving a price drop after the purchase we gladly reimbursed the $47 difference from the what you purchased the vehicle for $6505 to the price change of $6458.
