    I had surgery on November 6, 2023. I was told my share of the bill after insurance paid their part would be $513.03. I paid them with my husbands credit card that day. Post the surgery I received an EOB from my insurance provider showing that I should have only paid them $100.My husband has contacted this business multiple times requesting a refund of $413.03. They do not answer their phone so he has left a message on multiple occasions. They contacted him back one time in early January. The woman stated that they would be refunding him the amount owed him within 30 days. It is now early April and he has not received any payment. They do not return his phone calls. He has looked on-line and they have a pattern of taking peoples money and delaying or not paying refunds.

    Thank you for your time with bringing this to our attention. When we spoke in January, I researched as to why you were quoted the amount you paid.  After reviewing the scheduling information provided by your physician, the *** codes differed from what our billing team submitted to your insurance company. The operative report needed to be pulled and reviewed thereafter to confirm accuracy. After completing our verification, a corrected claim was submitted to your insurance company and as of today, we haven't received a denial or another payment.  When we last spoke, I mentioned a refund had already been provided due to the inconvenience and time it has taken for the above to be completed. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience/frustration and have spoken with your provider in regard to providing accurate *** codes when scheduling. If you have further questions or concerns, please call.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    They have not paid me in full. They paid me $374.11 via my credit card account. The amount owed me is $413.03. They still owe me $38.92.

    On November 7, 2022 I was scheduled for surgery at this center. They advised that I needed to pay approximately $1200 for my unmet deductible. I made a payment arrangement and paid $370.66 on the day of the visit. With the remaining balance to be withdrawn from my bank account every 15th day of the month in $100 increments. Two weeks after my surgery I received notice that my health insurance paid for my surgery leaving a patient responsibility of $376.70. After the initial payment of $370.66, I only owed $6.04. On December 15th Advanced Surgery withdrew $100 out of my bank account. I have contacted them weekly for 2 and a half months. I have emails stating they would refund the money to my account within 24 hours. Almost 3 months later and I still have not received my refund. The billing representative continues to tell me she hasn't gotten a response from the surgery center on the status of my refund after I was promised it would be deposited with 24 hours of the initial withdrawal on December 15, 2022.

    I just checked my bank account and Advanced Surgery issued a refund directly into my bank account today.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
