    Horrible scammers. Don't trust them. Liars. Upcharge unannounced.. read your fine print. Take your own pics and vids. You will need it

    Where do I start? I guess from the most recent issues. So I have my two last electric bills last one being nearly 200 dollars and the last month as well for a 263sq foot studio which is tiny. Im also never home since I work three jobs so I only come home to sleep. My electric was still being charged even when I moved out march 11th and the only thing on was the fridge. This unit has its own electric bill I couldnt install my own electric I knew in the future this would have been an issue on top of that my electric is shared between a few units so they just split up if someone uses more electricity guess what? You paying their electric. I also moved out a month early due to the water heater not getting fixed in 3 months all we had was cold water when me and a few neighbors tried to put in a work order they wanted us to trouble shoot or pay a plumber to take a look at the water heater. I got denied on getting an ac installed during the summer so it was no different than sleeping outside. A busted window that their lawn care crew busted using a leaf blower mustve blew a rock through my window. That never got fixed. The people they hire for maintainance are no good. I have all documents of what they tried to avoid theres why much more than this to add

    As of Saturday February 3rd **** we went to see the property at **** ****** and we were excited and overwhelmed. We fell in love ?? with it. Even **** my *** dog loved the backyard. It had handicap ?? accessible for me since I'm disabled. The open concept. The window over the kitchen sink. Frosted window in the bathroom. Washer/dryer. The presentation we fell in love with except the driveway, it was extremely narrow from street entrance and when pulling in the van bottomed out and hit the oil pan. Upon further inspection when my son got out of the van he saw the to the driveway was severely damaged. A few day's later received an email stating application withdrawn due to approval of a pending application. On 2/7/**** we were told another applicant was approved for the property. They kept emailing asking for paystubs and bank statements through their application online which we sent and still they keep asking us to resend. They didn't use my daughter in law as an occupant which she is. And being an occupant only without a bank account they don't count that as income. It's a ***** Law that you don't HAVE to have a bank account being an occupant only. We paid $251.65 I believe we were robbed and should be *********** a full refund because of emotional and mental anguish of this unnecessary daboggle. It's the right thing to do. If I didn't have to put a star to submit I wouldn't.

    Vacation Rentals-7/2023 Team Birdy advised an incident at 1 of our properties included theft; >$2500 of dcor/supplies. Some missing items were reported to me; $1950 which I told mgmt when asked for a list of items/cost. Compensation? $200. When asked about remaining loss, the ONLY response received was *******; said he was working to sort it out with *****, ********. Sent multiple followup emails; no resolve. I asked why Aircover wouldnt kick indoesnt apply because guests during incident booked directly through Birdy site. I asked if their company carries insurance to cover these thingsno answer at all. Not initially reported: 3 locks broken off 3 inventory lockers; 2 of 3 completely emptied. Loss >$600. Photos of contents available.More than 5 emails AFTER ******* (main contact) left company; still no response. 2 texts on 2 dates 1 before 1 after terminating our contract, *****, ********, asked if Id be available for a call; I responded yes * received NO call either time. In the end, I sent a long and thorough email asking questions regarding all of this and more, to include the protocol for the company buying back some of the equipment we pay for at set up. ***** Birdy, ********** *** Birdy Properties was kind enough to respond to that message only regarding the buy-back items. As to the rest of our questions, we received no further response as has been the trend these last few monthsto ultimately cause the termination of this service contract.If the President * ******** at the company dont bother to address concerns of paying clients in time of business loss who else do we turn to? The simplest forms of remaining questions are A) Does this company carry insurance to cover these losses? B) Will I ever receive any compensation? C) Why is this practice acceptable?Do not recommend; unfortunately they seem to expand in clients faster than they can grow in staff; seemingly doing more with less which almost always goes poorly for clients.

    DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I beg beg beg you all to stay away from this company. They make the move in process relatively easy. However its a trick for how the rest of your experience will go. 1. They do not answer phones in ************* to get ahold of them via email. 2. You will HAVE to take part of a security deposit insurance thing called Rhino. Which seems like it could be okay, however, at the time of move out Birdy will claim everything is excessive wear and tear causing you to have to pay everything out of pocket. Thankfully we had documentation to prove most of the damage was already there at move in and the rest was normal wear and tear. After disputing it with Rhino thinking we were done , Birdy emailed us directly asking for money to pay for the damages that went over. However, a settlement was already agreed with Rhino. So they lied to an insurance company about damages that werent from us & asked us for money too. Additionally, on top of the paying out of pocket, we followed move out instructions such as cleaning, carpet cleaning, etc, amounting to almost $1,000!! We basically paid for all of the maintenance that is expected of landlords.

    Do not rent from them. They are a scam. First they make you get a security down payment company (Rhino is the name of the company). There no phone number the only way to contact Rhino is though email. And then no response. Next they do housing inspection every three months. It's mandatory!!!! All maintenance is from independent contractors. It may or may not get fixed. It takes at least a month before anyone comes out to repair. After your lease is up they go up on the rent or get out (but they go down once moved). Any damages you pay. Rhino covers nothing.The money you pay every month is for nothing. I paid $100 a month for 2 and half years. RUN DON'T RENT FROM THEM YOU WILL BE OUT OF MORE MONEY THAN YOU KNOW.
