************************************ used Home Tax Shield ************************************************************************ in 2023. I paid a fee of $30 and submitted all of the supporting documentation for the property tax process. I now came to find out that nothing that I submitted for the protest had been submitted by this agency. I strongly advice to not use this company. Their web site looks sophisticated and is very automated, which is impressive, but they did not provide the service that I paid for.

I cannot stress this enough: Home Tax Shield is an unprofessional and deceitful service that you should steer clear of. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare from beginning to end Their lack of professionalism was evident in their communication from multiple staff members. Whenever I sought updates or tried to clarify their approach, they were evasive and dismissive. It was as if they didn't care about their clients' concerns and were only interested in squeezing more money out of me when they didn't even deserve it.To make matters worse, their business practices raised serious red flags. I strongly suspect they engage in fraudulent tactics to lure customers in with false hope. Despite their fees, they provided no tangible results and left me feeling cheated.Home Tax Shield is not worth anyone's time or trust. They are liars who overpromise and underdeliver. Save yourself the frustration and find a reputable service that actually cares about its clients and can deliver on their promises. My advice: stay away from Home Tax Shield! (I'm sure someone will respond to this review trying to defend their position and downplay my experience but not going to work this time. You guys are just bad at your jobs and need to be exposed.)

I signed up for HOME TAX SHEILD last year to save money on my taxes. They saved me around $200. I did not desire to continue the relationship but was charged $30 for 2023. I chatted with them within 10 days of the charge and ask them to cancel and remove the charge. She said I could only cancel online and I would not be refunded. Looking online it appears that I am canceled, but I am not sure. There is no longer a chat option, and the phone number said it does not answer calls, just chats. I've blocked the company from charging me in the future and filed an appeal with the credit card. All I desire is 2 things: cancel my contract and refund the $30.

As a new homeowner, I reached out to this company to help with property tax protest. They helped me but all other properties in my close neighborhood were estimated way less than mine and the home beside me was assessed same despite that being nearly 30% more in area and more bedrooms. They saved me a total of $600 annually i.e. monthly $50. I was hoping their service fees was the initial $35 to 50 that I had paid. I was WRONG. Just today, they charged my card, without my knowledge, another $180+ as a success fees. Upon asking they said I had signed somewhere that I agreed to pay them every year.. and for saving $600, they charged me a total of $220+ or more.New Homeowners, please stay away from these fraudulent businesses and evaluate other options.

P Nayak, as we discussed at length in chat, our terms of service are very clearly presented throughout the site, including on the signup form where you are required to check multiple boxes confirming you read and understand them. Im very sorry you are so disappointed when we did great work for you and saved you good money on your property taxes this year. For everyone else reading this, customers like *************************** (aka *******; aka *******************; aka probably more pseudonyms to come as you will see in the reviews) deserve a zero-star rating themselves when they fail to acknowledge they checked multiple boxes agreeing to our terms of service. We work hard to make it very clear how our business (and most property tax firms) work. Why someone would get so angry at a $184 fee when we saved them $600 is beyond our understanding, but unfortunately, it happens. When they treat our customer service team the way he did, which is completely unacceptable, we are happy to let them go work with another firm.
