Ive paid **** dollars for a new heating and air conditioner with a one year warranty.. on a 3 year old house it hasnt even been a year I have no heatBusiness response

We called *** Wayne to replace our old water heater on 06/16/21. They were professional and seemed knowledgeable about their jobs.Since that time, we have called them at least 4 times because of something going wrong with our water heater. This last time (yesterday) it knocked out power to our entire house momentarily.So we called another company and they sent someone out, only to find out the 2 gentleman wired the water heater wrong and could have burned my house down. Still waiting for someone from *** Wayne to fix thisBusiness response

Business installed new HVAC unit. price was $10,000. 11/3/21 heater was turned on and entire house filled with smoke. Upon inspection, found that the installer was not a licensed eletrician, did not run the correct sized wire, made a connection to under sized wire stuffed behind the dryway with a junction box. Breakers did not trip and had to remove dryway to put out fire from melting wires catching a stud on fire. Had i left on time that morning i would have lost my entire home and pets to a fire. Company will not transfer my call to anyone to help resolve the issue. Sent a tech to diagnose issue and he was shocked to find the poor quality of work. Company is sending licensed electrician this time to sweep up their mess. I am concerned about the other work this apprentice has performed and potential hazards that await other customers. I am highly considering taking legal action.Business response

Hired company to replace ductwork to my AC system. Company did not do a good job, left job incomplete and damaged my house in the process. Do not want this company in my house ever again after the second time they were in my house, they damaged a ceiling in my master bedroom closet, which was fixed already. Took it upon myself to hire another AC company to inspect *** Wayne workmanship and was not satisfied with what technician showed me and what invoice stated.Business response

I had hired Jon Wayne service company on August 13, 2021, to replace the ductwork that the sales man said that needed replacing due to leaks and I took his word for it. The companies employees spent all day long inside my house, attic running AC system with garage door open, front door open and my electric **** was more than usual. During that time employees damage ceiling inside guest bathroom and the ceiling from front door hallway. I did not realize that 2 separate people were going to come into my house and inspect the workmanship that Jon Wayne service company has done.
I do not have the names to these individuals nor do I know who they actually work for. One inspector has told me right away that he felt that workmanship was not going to pass inspection but he'll pass it if I wanted him to. I told him no and had asked him to give a list of things that needed to be repaired, fixed. He never did.
The second person came in and inspected the flow of air through vents and never told me anything but to call up CPS and have them replace my thermostat because the one in the house was outdated.
*** Wayne called me up and we set up another time for them to come and fix what needed to be fixed and spent the whole day in my house again making a mess and damaging another ceiling in master bedroom closet. Which has been fixed already.
The following day I hired another AC company to come in and inspect the workmanship that *** Wayne employees did and feel that they did not follow through with what was supposed to be done.
Jon Wayne service company is incapable of doing a job correctly the first time around and they are not capable of doing the job the second time around. I do not want Jon Wayne service company inside my house ever again and would like this matter to be resolved as soon as possible so that I can get a legit AC company to come and do what was supposed to be done in the first place. Thank you

We've made multiple attempts to bring resolution to this matter and unfortunately have made no progress. Our Client has refused to speak to multiple members of our management team that are tasked to handle these situations and without communication, we inevitably cannot move forward. I am rejecting this response because: I have called ************************* on the 27th of January @ 10:25 am and had left a message for him and have not heard back from him since. I'm Tired of this issue lingering over my head and not having a resolved issues. I've repeatedly called the company and have asked to talk to ********************* time and time and again for the last few months and have not received a call back. This company thinks that they can come into a person's home and perform crappy work on my AC/heating system and get compensated for it. Now I'm stuck with $10,000 **** which they already have their money and I'm left screwed with a AC/HEATING SYSTEM that does not work properly. And a bank harassing me for payment. The last time company was in my house I specifically told whoever I spoke with on phone that I did not want their employees in my house just so that they can do more damage to my house. Once second job was finished and without my knowledge, I had signed invoice but then employees told me that they had damaged ceiling in my master bedroom closet, leaving my clothes full of fiberglass and sheet rock material all over. I would not have signed invoice if I had known about damage to the ceiling. This problem is giving me anxiety and health problems something I do not need in my life. I'm a disabled veteran and already have enough health issues as it is. Please tell me what I need to do to get this issue resolved. Do I need to hire a lawyer in order to resolve this issue?

Once again we've discussed our clients concerns but he refuses to allow us back into his home to assess the issue. He's requesting a substantial discount on the work that was rendered but without looking at it, we cannot come to a mutual resolution. It's unfortunate because a good faith effort has been made to make this right but his demands aren't justified, we deem this matter closed.Customer response

Our A/C system froze up a couple of times. We called **** Wayne out to come look at it despite the fact that it was working. The tech said it was likely our filter that caused the couple freezes, but then did the whole salesman speech on the laundry list of ways a new unit would be better, etc. We told him we were fine without one for now but would consider down the road. Then he went back outside before he left and we went and ran an errand. He calls us and says "I don't know what I did, but all of a sudden your breaker won't stop flipping". Then when we get back 10 min later, he has now grounded our compressor and fried to the point of not being fixable, so our entire system is dead.The only recourse JWC offered was he replaced the breaker "free of charge, because I'm not sure what I did there". And then pulled up his lengthy price sheet again. $3-5k to replace the compressor that was now fried, or $11-15k for a new unit. **** Wayne said "not our problem" when I tried to escalate.Business response

We've made every effort to explain our findings from our visit but if the end result is not *** Wayne installing a new unit, the client does not want to hear it. They called us out because the unit was not operational, we diagnosed multiple issues with the unit but our client claims that we made the issue worse by diagnosing it, we did not. We have taken this matter as far as we could and unfortunately, could not come to a reasonable agreement, we deem this matter closed.
