If anyone from Village Contractors of Texas approaches you RUN!!! We had a mishap which resulted in the facade to our garage needing to be replaced. My husband saw them on Next Door and said they seemed well liked. Mustve been a mirage. These folks do sloppy work, show up whenever they feel like it and to date havent finished the job which began last June! The owner, **************************************, is one of the biggest ************ Ive ever run across. She comes out talking fast, loud and saying nothing. She broke almost every promise that she made including supplying the numerous references she said she had from other Stone Oak customers. Painstakingly most of the facade got rebuilt but they left gobs of mortar on the garage curtain, painted over the outside garage door controls, screwed up the opening code for the two sides and left a thick cloud of dust over everything that we were unable to to fit in the cheap, tacky storage unit they showed up with 3 weeks after the job was to have been started. *********************** promised a POD and plastic wrapping of items that had to be left inside the garage. When she brought out the supposed warranty it was some error-ridden gobbledegook far south of a seventh grader that she copied off the internet. On, and onbut Ill stop here cause I think you get the point. The final t*** on this companya poor *************** is when we went to confront *********************** she couldnt be found at neither of the two locations listed for her company-Village Contractors of Texas!!!!

This complaint is absolutely ridiculous! I finished all the work approved by the insurance, and more. They wanted us to replace garage door monitors for free and do additional painting for free.
Its individuals like this that cause unnecessary conflict because they try and take advantage and think thats ok!!!
All the work is completed except for what they didnt want to pay for out of pocket! I dont know how to fix this, but as far as Im concerned al this work has been completed. And it looks absolutely beautiful! All the interior, metal panels and garage doors paid by insurance is done. Its sickening and so sad that it has come to this.

I am rejecting this response because:
We did not ask for anything free. The contractor's  mode of service and lack of communication was accurately depicted in the original complaint. The owner offered to paint some railings on our garage front and side porch. She was at our house begging us to release more funds cause she couldn't make payroll. She had to bring her painters back out to do some touch up work. My husband asked her since they were going to be on site how much would she charge us to repaint some wrought iron railings  we have at the front and side of the home. SHE poo-pooed him saying I'm not gonna charge you for something so small because ya'll have been so patient to work with us.  When she got the check at this visit communication continued to be spotty to nil. She is correct in that the majority of the work was done but it took from June 2022 to several months long and drawn out. They still left  globs of mortar on the drive-way curtain, that we had to pay to get cleaned up, never delivered the promised replacement for our outside garage controllers that her workers painted over when they painted the frame  They never finished painting the garage door.. They didn't adequeatly cover items that they said could be left in the garage becsuse she didn't get the container she promised that would hold the garage items until completion of the job. She promised everything would be covered in plastic. Not true. In fact many of my husband's tools and batteries are covered with paint, they got paint on the refrigerator we keep in the garage, our water softener and water heaters are spleckled with paint. We never told the contractor we were happy with the job because we kept waiting for weeks to come back as the owner promised to address outstanding items. After repeated unreturned voice messages and text messages we went looking for the company. We were unable to locate them at the two listed addresses for the business.  And we still do not have a legitimate warranty.
      Regards,
