    When me and my wife were talking with the representatives about getting solar, we had explained to them that we only wanted to do the solar if they were going to replace our old breaker box that was outside because we had 3 electricians come over and let us know it was not up to date to handle solar panels as it was installed in the 80s. They reassured us they would replacethe electric panel (breaker box) that was outside, and we told them and they even put it in the paperwork that they would replace our existing one with a brand new one. I have now tried to contact the 2 representatives about the issue and us experiencing electrical problems since the solar panel installation because they did not in fact change it out. It has been since July and they will answer me and say they will get back to me and they forget about me. Thus has turned into a safety issue now. All we want is our electric panel (breaker box) outside replaced as they has promised and put in their paperwork

    Dear Mr. ************** appreciate you reaching out with your concerns. I would like to clarify that a main service panel upgrade was never promisedeither verbally or in your contract. What was discussed was that if an upgrade was necessary, you would be charged accordingly, and the panel would be upgraded.
    Your solar interconnection was completed via a line-side tap, which did not require a main service panel upgrade. Furthermore, your system received Permission to Operate (PTO) from *********** meaning it passed their inspection and was deemed safe for operation.
    Regarding your concern about tripped breakers inside your home, this would not be caused by the solar installation, as we did not modify your main service panel. However, I have made multiple attempts to contact you and have offered to upgrade your panelwhether it is 150 amps or 200 ampsat a significantly reduced cost compared to market rates.
    Please remember that your system is covered under our 30-year workmanship warranty, and we are happy to assist with any concerns related to your solar installation. Feel free to reach out at your convenience so we can discuss the best way to address your concerns.

    Good morning,I ordered a Generac generator from Solar Edge since September of 2021. They received the generator since March of 2022. I was told on multiple occasions that they were going to install the generator and they never installed it. The salesperson kept telling me he was going to contact me regarding updates and he never contacted me. He also informed me August 1st that a manager would contact me regarding the generator and nobody has contacted me. I am wanting to cancel this order because I am having to pay for the generator even though I have not received it. I cannot cancel it directly through the lender. I have told the salesperson that I want to cancel it but he has not allowed me to.

    We are sympathetic to your situation. Your generator is ready to be installed, but we cannot install it without your citys permission. It is unheard of, in our experience, for a city to take this long to approve a generator install. We do follow up with them regularly on your behalf in efforts to expedite the process. Thank you for your patience, and we will keep you updated with new information.
