    I purchased a used 2012 VW Beetle from this dealership on 1-12-24. As part of the deal, the owner promised 2 seat clips and a splash guard (the back seats cannot be folded down without the clips). The owner (*****) said the items had to be ordered and the salesperson (*****) would notify me when they were in. Then I could bring the car in to have them repaired/replaced. Over the past few months, I went several times to the dealership, made numerous phone calls, and sent texts. My daughter and my fianc also texted or stopped by to inquire about this for me, as I work out of town. We all tried looking for the seat clips online in an attempt to expedite the process, but we had a hard time finding the correct items. My fianc went a few times to the dealership to see if he could help look up the parts in person, but neither ***** nor ***** were there. And to date, neither have produced these items that were promised. I gave them a 1-star review on ****** and ***** and ***** were upset about it. They claimed we sent them the wrong part to purchase so it had to be returned. However, one of the times I spoke to ***** I asked him if the customer is supposed to be looking for the parts, and he said no. At some point, he tried to offer me a second car key in lieu of the parts, but I declined as I did not need an extra car key nor was that agreed upon.On 5-31-24, ***** emailed me and was upset about the review. He said he had to talk to ***** (I am assuming to see if he was still going to follow through on the parts). On 6-11-24, I emailed to check on the parts and have not heard back. This has been ongoing and I would like the parts they promised. At this point, I would rather they mail them to my home (all 3 items) with a guarantee they are the correct parts. I really need to ensure that they will fit because I will be hiring someone else to replace the parts once I receive them, as I do not wish to have any more in-person interactions with this dealership.

    Olmos Park Auto Group, As the customer stated, Parts are not available. We also looked for after market parts and the same. These small parts do not affect the safety or drivability of the car. We have made every attempted to resolve this issue and have resounded.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This dealership promised to get me the parts and I have plenty of text messages about it. I tried to help out by looking for the parts myself, but that is not my job. They need to honor what they tell their customers. I am not asking for much. Like I said, they can send me a voucher or credit for a reasonable amount to the ** dealership and I will call ** myself to handle this. Or they can even send the voucher directly to ** in *********** and let me know so I can call ** to use it on the parts for my car. I just want to get this resolved. Thank you.
