My family purchased a new home from Oak Creek Homes in Seguin. Our sales person was great to work with and he knew the tight turnaround we had moving from out of state and when our arrival in ***** would be. Once in ***** at the end of February 2022, we immediately came to our property to see our new place. We were excited for the new adventures to begin only to find out there was a huge mess left on our property from the contractors (that we finally flipped the **** on to clean up after multiple times being told someone would be out to take care of it and no one came to take care of it). We had a slab foundation poured to set our house on and the contractor just dumped the extra concrete on the side of our driveway that again, we were told someone will be out to haul it off. Four months later and it's radio silence. The dried up mound of concrete is still here and we get zero response from multiple emails, texts, VM's left for the ** of Oak Creek Homes. My husband even tried to text the contractor just to be told he has wrong number but during Feb-May he had some sort of communication from the contractor saying someone will be out. Move in day arrives and we finally get to move out of the hotel and into our new home except we don't have stairs on our porch so that was a fun few weeks trying to get in and out of our house. Contractor finally comes out to build stairs. Now coming from single-digit cold and snowy weather to this warm weather ***** is offering is fabulous. Might need to kick that A/C on except we don't have an A/C yet. Why is the shower sound like it's running, because it is, there's a massive leak and the entire underneath of the house is like a waterbed. Floor planks are lifting. Doors won't close, still have a pile of dumped concrete on my property. They DO NOT build quality homes. Once you sign those papers they blow you off and all communication stops. I've had nothing but issues and it's only been 4 months. Save yourself the disappointment!
