I joined Slim for Life on August 18 2021. Their Commercials advertise for a 99 dollar plan. When you sign up you learn the price has balooned up to over 500 dollars . I joined at $576,00 dollars. when joining you are given a starting package of Supplements for a 14 weeks of weight loss treatment, along with 6 weeks of stabilization and 32 weeks of weight maintenance. I went in to the office for a schedule of a eating plan on August 20, and to get a better schedule on on taking the vitamins and supplements they supply. *****************{ the Sales Lady} informed me of another package that if bought I wouldn"t have to buy any thing else for the length of the program. that package price was ******* dollars. The package contained only protein powder in bottles that you had to fill with water, some slim bars and a few bottles of supplements. When I questioned her and told her that was not what we saw in the nutrition book we working from. I later had a meeting with one of their Representatives to settle my complaint I was then told that package was not what I needed I needed the bigger package. Totally misrepresented and scammed by them.Business response

Dear BBB,
We have tried to contact ********** several time without success. The manager of the ***** store called him yesterday and he told her he was at dinner would call her back in a little while. She asked him will you call me back today? He said yes I will call you today. He did not call back yesterday like he said he would The manager tried to call him again today no answer. He is obviously avoiding talking to the manager. The manager and the area supervisor both have met with him to address his concerns in the past and ********** left Happy. We will send a formal response tomorrow. We will give ********** additional time to call us back from the phone call yesterday.
