The issue has been ongoing since March of 2021. I did not think about BBB being able to help me until a friend suggested it a day ago. I receive royalty checks from XTO. My March 2021 check was well below what I usually am paid. I contacted them by phone and was told they had "withheld deductions twice" from the check by mistake. I was supposed to be contacted and have the amount reimbursed if that indeed was the case. It was transferred to the accounting department. I have been in touch with them every couple of weeks to months ever since and am never able to talk to accounting, nor am I told what happened in March of 2021 or when I will be reimbursed. They will not let me speak to accounting nor anyone in charge. They have stopped responding to my emails other than a canned generic response. I have contacted a lawyer to write a letter, but the cost of the attorney would eat up the money I am owed (over $600). I will upload a word document of the first few months of contact. My last response from them was 9/20/22 at 8:06am. This is a typical email response from them for the last year and a half. I have saved all of the emails and can provide them if you need.
