Advertisers should disclose any material limitations on a "satisfaction guarantee" or "money back guarantee" and define, for consumers, the meaning of claims such as "lifetime guarantee.
Since 2017, the BBB of Houston & Greater South Texas have received numerous complaints and customer reviews for Marvel Optics that exhibit the following pattern below:
Consumer complaints and customer reviews alleged Marvel Optics does not acknowledge receiving eye glass prescriptions from consumers. When consumers ask for verification the eye glass prescription had been received, they do not receive return calls or emails from company. Consumers also state they received eye glasses with the wrong prescription. Consumers also mentioned refunds not being processed correctly back to their accounts. When consumers reach out to the company regarding their orders, they alleged customer service is extremely difficult to get in touch with and seldom respond back to the consumer. Consumers also allege they are paying for expedited shipping but not receiving merchandise.
