    Contract signed 1-31-2023; work performed 2-9-2023 Amount paid: $18,358.00 Contract was for the replacement of the existing roof with new Certainteed Black Noire shingles to include replacing all external plumbing pipes w/coded lead jacks, etc.; replace chimney flashing; and install 2 Attic Breeze solar-powered roof vents w/control box.Problems encountered:1. Stains (approximately 7) left on the side of the house because it was not protected from falling debris when removing the old shingles. I was told it was going to be repaired; but that was just over a year ago.2. Vent on top of roof left completely sealed. A number of others barely open.3. Sections where the old shingles were not removed and the new shingles were just installed on top of the old.4. Chimney flashing is not fully secured to the roof leaving a gap for moisture/rodents to enter.5. Did not replace or paint old rusting out-takes and flashing (not sure of correct terminology). (Metal plates next to the house used to divert water flow.)Business was contacted about Problem 1 above at the time of roof installation and although they said they would repair the areas damaged, nothing has been done to date. The remaining problems (2-5) were discovered during a roof inspection following a thunderstorm. Company was contacted, but has failed to respond.
