Ken and Jada ***** quoted us $18,419 to build our covered porch, we sent pictures of what we wanted before we got the quote. They said they were bonded and that’s the only reason we went with them. They were not punctual, never showed up before 12-3pm and had problems with us when we would ask where they were or when they were coming. They were disrespectful and did not structure the covered section properly. They did not make proper cut sizes on our underpinning and filled the holes and gaps with putty, and they haven’t even screwed in the deck portion that you walk on. When we stated that things were not up to standard and things weren’t being done like we had thought they would, he threatened to “get gangster” at us. They originally said that it would take 4-5 days to complete and it took two weeks and then they said they weren’t coming back after we said the gate and steps were not right. They already have $15,551.75 of our money. They said they were not coming back to finish and they will not give us their bond info. They’re not even half way done and we’ve have someone else come and evaluate the porch to see how much it would cost to fix what they didn’t do right and it’s going to be another $15,000. They bought the shingles and had them out here already and they aren’t even the correct shingles. Which I gave him detailed info on which shingles to get. We would like the majority of our money back or they can pay the bill for whatever it’s going to cost to have everything fixed properly. They have already gotten 85% of the payment and have not completed that much work. More or less they haven’t completed the work or completed it properly. We have a two year old and it’s not safe for him to even be near it!
