  Tyler Deck and Fence gave us a bid and just before Christmas 2022 and we accepted. The work started and was to be completed before the holiday. As we have large dogs, ***** agreed the crew would remove and replace the fence one section at a time. Unfortunately, this was not the plan the crew followed. On the first day the two long sides of our fence were completely removed exposing our back yard to our neighbors yards, this was left over night causing ** to only let out one dog at a time. On the second day the long sides were completed, and the fence that separates our front and back yards was replaced, including a single gate. That gate is non-functional, neither opening or closing correctly, one post needs to be re-cemented into place with a possible additional post needed. I had a handshake deal with ***** a member of his crew would return on Monday, Dec 28 to complete the work, the crew member no-showed. I contacted ***** and was told a crew member would return to complete the work on Dec 30th, again no-show. I have called and left numerous messages and texts with ***** to no avail, I have had no contact with him since December 29th. It has been 15 days (as of today Jan 13, 2023) with no response. No, I would not recommend this company. If I could give less than one star I would.update Feb 6 2023 had to pay another company to finish this project and have my gate redone.Update June 2, I have been staining the fence, finding more issues, some of the metal post are not secured to the fence, my right side neighbors fence boards were removed and not replaced and one of the neighbors have a dog. The boards are not spaced properly. Not sure what I will find when I stain the back side of the fence. I have to pay again to fix both of my neighbors fence. For a company that advertises as a Veteran and a local business; All I see is poor workmanship, or respect for the people that have hired you to do a job.

  This customer has repeatedly harassed Tyler Deck and Fence because she was not happy that the job took to long when we had unseasonably cold temperatures that were not expected. I could not have my team working in dangerously cold weather. The work was done and done well just took longer than she wanted because of weather conditions in December. My team worked hard in 12 degree weather and completed the job in 2 days.
