  On 3-7-2022 I placed an order for 60 sheets of 6'1/2 foot lite stone Tex rib sheet metal. I received a call from ***** that my order was ready for pickup about ten days later. We told her we would be at their place of business when they opened the next morning. When my wife and I arrived ***** and a young ******** man looking to be in his 20s met with us to show us our order. I ask ***** are you sure there are 60 sheets there because it does not look like it. She said the cover sheet shows 60. I tried my best to count the sheet but the way they were stacked I was unable to. The young man got some straps and loaded the metal on my trailer and I tried to count the metal again with no luck. I ask ***** again are you sure there is 60 sheets here? She replied that's what is written on the cover sheet. We strap the metal to the trailer and parked the trailer in our fenced in back yard. We had purchased the metal to replace a privacy fence at our home. When we went to buy the lumber the prices were very high so we decided to wait for the prices to come down some. Last week on **** 2022 we purchased the lumber we needed and started replacing our fence. The next day my wife said we do not have enough metal so a few hour later we had ran out of metal. We went back an counted the sheets we had put up and there was only 28 sheets plus the cover sheet. We contacted the company and explained to them what had happened and that we wanted them to provide us with the 32 sheets missing from the order and they are not willing to do the right thing.So we feel we have no other option than to file this complaint.

  We have a situation where a customer is trying to steal materials from us and slander us in the process.

  3-7-22 Order placed with Quality

  3-9-22 Order for 60 sheets of sheet metal sent to our ********* office with a response they didn't have that color in stock and the shipment of the coil was 3 weeks out due to nationwide shipping situations. They called me (the Regional Director, *******************************) and explained the situation. I said I will be heading there next week and we have the correct color in our ****** office. I said I would personally bring them up on th17th of March.

  3-17-22 *******************, *************************, *****************************, cut the 60 sheets. I loaded with them and counted 60 sheets before I transported the needed materials. In which We always double check for checks and balances. Delivered the materials the same day to the ***************** They counted the materials to have the correct inventory on their location. Unloaded the 60 sheets in one stack that never moved from the pallet for the waiting period of less than 48 hrs.

  3-19-22 Customer came to pick up the materials. We loaded all at once with the fork lift. The customer counted the materials twice or more according the the yard manager. A very happy customer when I went the extra mile to drive 6hrs because they needed it fast for their project. They were going to build a privacy fence immediately. 

  THREE MONTHS LATER

  6-30-22 The customer(*************************) called and I am short over half the sheets of metal. (impossible) We asked if it was possible materials were stolen from her. She said no because it was locked behind the fence. They were in such a hurry to build their fence so I personally brought them up to help.

  This is a claim not only not from *************************. It's an attempt to steal from our company because they calculated the job wrong and needed a lot more material. (in my opinion) 

  It's wrong and illegal to slander and under God's eyes wrong to steal also.

  I did some research on ****** earth and there is no way to fence in the trailer and materials. I can get some drone footage of the property and the materials used if needed.

  I am rejecting this response because: The statements made by Quality outdoor products are false. I tried to count the sheet metal but was unable to but I took their word that there were 60 sheet thinking they were a reputable company. And as for his ****** search goes I can assure you my yard is fenced inn with several trailers in the fenced area. I also have two dogs in my yard that will not let any one in that they do not know. I'm only asking them for the 32 to sheets of metal that I have payed for and did not receive. I do not steal but that is what they are doing if they do not deliver what I have payed for and did not receive. I would like for them to send some drone footage so you can see that I'm telling the truth. If you you need character references or references for my ability to calculate materials for a job I can give you numerous names of people from my church and people I have done business with dealing with calculating materials for a jobs.
