I purchased a motor on line from MABBCO. It took them months to ship it. Once I got the Motor it was rusted and did not hold oil pressure. MABBCO refused to refund my money unless I shipped the motor back to them which cost me $200. They then started they would not refund my $1865 if I want the motor it would cost me another $200 in shipping to get the same faulty motor! There are hundreds of reviews from other consumers being scammed by this company. They have their motor and my $1865 plus the $200 in shipping costs. They take months to respond to emails. I want my money refunded!

This company regularly and routinely scams consumers out of their money. They sell faulty motors, claim its the consumers fault the motor is defective, refuse to pay for return shipping that costs hundreds of dollars, then refuse to refund the consumers money! Mabbco has $1876 of my money and the motor!

On 10/10/2021 customer submitted, via email, a warranty claim to MABBCO. Per the terms of the agreed limited warranty, on 10/17/2021, MABBCO issued customer, via email, Return Authorization Number *********** affording customer the opportunity to return the product for "inspection and correction." On 11/2/2021 customer returned the item to MABBCO. Consistent with the terms of the agreed limited warranty, on 11/5/2021, MABBCO inspected the returned item which included complete disassembly of the unit. On 11/14/2021, MABBCO notified customer, via email, that the item was reassembled/repaired and ready for pick-up.
Although MABBCO has made every effort possible to fulfill the terms of the contract and honor its limited warranty, customer continues to make demands which are beyond the scope of the contract and/or the agreed limited warranty. Prior to returning the item for "inspection and correction," MABBCO expressly advised customer in writing as follows: Your invoice states . . . "Goods that cannot be returned for credit or refund are . . . long blocks."

I purchased a ********* 327 cubic inch engine from this company this year. I MANY months to actually get the engine . each time I called there was a different excuse as to why it continued to be delayed . On one of the later calls it was stated that they could not find the proper crank shaft, I informed them that I had two and that they both required machining. I asked them if I sent them to them if it would make to process of getting my ordered engine completed and shipped sooner . They stated yes and I shipped them to them at my expense. A couple weeks later they notified me that the engine had shipped. On the day of its arrival and unpacking the engine I notice first that there was metal machining material all over and eternally throughout the engine. I then proceeded to place the engine on to an engine stand, upon its placement I rolled the engine to a upright position and upon doing so a piston rod cap nut and a rod bearing fell to the floor. Now my attention to further details is wide open. Further inspection reveal's all cylinder head bolts are filled with rust and one cylinder bolt hole is clearly larger that the others and won"t accept the required head bolts. Now my distrust in this engine is wide open so I attempt to turn the Crank shaft to inspect the boring on the cylinders, crank shaft won't turn. I roll the engine back over to inspect further. I find Piston rod's 7 and 8 binding on the crank shaft prohibiting rotation, I decided to inspect the rear main bearing and find that the crank shaft journal still has the damage it had when sent it to them which means that it was never machined. Clearly this engine is defective upon the day of delivery. I could not in any way, shape or form use this product in the **** ****** I had intended it for. I immediately contacted them only to be told I would have to return it at my expense. This is clearly FRAUD. They will not return my money. This is not a warranty issue. IT was defective the day of Arrival.

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/11/28) */ Dear Customer, At your earliest convenience, please provide your invoice number (i.e. sales number) so MABBCO may reference your transaction and respond appropriately. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/11/29) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The invoice number is INXXXXXXX. Be advised that I have had multiple contacts with Mabbco motors on the day of delivery and after informing them of the defective engine they sent me and only got rude unacceptable responses from their representative. I clearly stated that the product was defective with descriptions of the defects. This is not a warranty issue it was never a usable product from the time it arrived. This is a clear case of fraud. They have stolen my money. I have never been able to utilize the product they sent me. I nor anyone else could use the product.
