i got a 350 natural gas motor from them and toke it to a mechanic before i mounted it. Took it apart heads bearings pistons. The engine rebuilder said he would not even stand beside it if it were started. ***** ***** shaft piston sleeves were off from top to bottom by *****. It just had new pieces put in it noting was machined. Put it back together and they took it back. After the truck got there they didn't want to unload it. finally did after the 3rd attempt. Called 5 or 6 times and finally every day. Did finally send my $ back but paid freight both way and charged 20% restocking fee. I would never by anything from these guys if you want something that is really rebuilt.

Warning!!!!! Beware!!!! Do not use this company! They do very poor or not even do the machine work on your engine. I bought a 5.3L LS from them and it took 8 months for them to finish. They originally told me it would be 3 months to be completed. The heads had big deep scratches. The engine was all painted over where it shouldn't be painted. It had over spray all over the rockers. They used all cheap gaskets. The ** oil pump that I purchased was a ***** made low quality pump for the price of a name brand one!

They usually provide good and cost effective solutions. I have bought one 99 Tahoe 350 5.7 long block which I still drive with no issues (bought in 2014). I have bought a 2AZFE ****** Camry engine short block which I still use (bought in 2017) and bought a **** 5.4 3v short block for a customer (i have no heard about him and his truck if had issues so i will assume is still good. It was bought on 2021). Overall, they're good.

do not spend any money with these people, first they cant find parts or finsh the job on time... next they cant find parts ( I found them with amazon ands ******* when you do find the parts and send them to them for installation they don't give you a credit for then even though they charged you extra for (hardened push rods) . then when your motor arrives its full of scale and looks like its been out in the weather for a long time. I ordered ********** motors from them the first one failed in less than a year, Cylinder head was blocked with rust, I am sure the other will likely fail soon as well. they use the cheapest gasket kits they can find the mains on both motors leak... but heyt i had all of five minutes to except the motor when it arrived... if this is the ******* ship your looking for buy form these guys but you would be better off getting something from the junk yard and taking your chances.

DO NOT BUY FROM MABBCO MOTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They lie. They cheat. They have written such an ironclad contract that they can s**** up just about anything or provide you with substandard or outright broken junk and you will still be "at fault". Even if you want to claim a warrantee, they put all the cost on their customers to send parts and engines back to them to fix the problem if they decide to once the receive it.The engine, a 1987-1995, 5.7L 350 ***** long block upgraded to a marine engine. This product needed no research but I admit that I did not do a thorough background check on this business until after I already made my payment.I was told, over the phone, that there would be a 6 to 10 week lead time but it was actually 16 weeks (ordered 3/31/23 received 7/17/23) At around 12 weeks, and several phone calls, I was worried that my summer would come and go and I would have no engine. Each time I called I was given a new excuse. They have to buy some cores at auction. The plant manager was out last week. We are under staffed. We can't find any good mechanics. I was informed that it was my right to cancel but my order (the entire order.. engine core, new parts, labor, delivery!?!?) would be assessed a 20% restocking fee even though they hadn't done a thing except order the parts (allegedly) that would be necessary to complete the engine. They insisted I was informed by them that it might take longer than 10 weeks. I assure all reading this that I would never have agreed to a delivery that might be that late. I am a boater in the north east and I get 3 months to boat.Break in day! July 26, 2023 @ 11:05 AM. It turned out that my remanufactured engine had a blown head gasket. Cylinders 2, 4, 6, & 8 all measured at ******* compression and 1, 3, 5, & 7 were 165, 120, 30, 60. WTF! I discovered later that MABBCO installed a warped head on my recently remanufacture engine. I have contacted the company once so far but they have not replied.

I can't stress this point enough, these people do not care about you or the products they sell. Another reviewer said it well, a blind man that cares could build a better engine. They do not return calls or answer e-mails. I cannot stress how poorly built my engine was. Not vat and cleaned properly. wrong pistons installed. brass freeze plugs damaged while installing. Cam bearing damage while installing. Old crankshaft used with mixed bearings. I have to have another machine shop to fix there work properly, I wasted money and time. Buying a new engine is expensive serious and stressful at times, these people should be ashamed to put out this kind of work. I have pictures and documentation to back up this review.

Order a 24 valve Cummins Shortblock Which took 4 months to get and it was the wrong block mechanic had to swap crank and Cam shaft Which took him about 90 days to complete I picked motor home up drove **** miles check water light coming on On further inspection from the mechanic he found a 1' crack in the block madco has no quality control They hide behind their one sided warranty and will not help me whatsoever They are very good about wording their replies in their replies as I see on the reviews that it is the customer's fault this is not our fault it is theirs From the reviews that I Read I have received an email from them that States it is out of warranty but they will give me a 20% discount on another one I just want my $3200 back I will be filing a lawsuit for the full amount of the injury replacement which is $18000 if any other consumers are smart they would do the same thing same thing ********************** *********** **

Did not know how long it would take for a Jeep Cherokee 4.0 short block to be machined and assembled compared to the time I was ready to install.4.0 short block was delivered, but not at the address given. Had to meet on the side of a busy road to load into the back of a pickup truck. I was not ready to install so I left it wrapped with the plastic wrap to keep contaminates out. When I finally unwrapped the short block I found where one of the metal tie down strap was placed over the oil filters sealing surface and I had to handfile for over an hour to get a flush sealing surface. Now after I've had the engine running for over a year there's an oil leak coming from the rear main seal. I drop the oil pan and rear main bearing cap to change the seal and find a deep groove in the crankshaft in the area of the rear main seal. I know that it's way out of warranty, but I paid good money for a properly machined short block and received JUNK. I'm always going to have a constant oil leak and drip when parked. Not a happy costumer, and they don't care as long as their junk shipped out the door.DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SCAMMING BUSINESS!!
