I contracted with Steele Roofing LLC. *****, ***** to replace my roof and gutters in the summer/fall of 2023. The roofing part of this contract went well (as far as I can determine at this time). The gutter workmanship is another story. Steele Roofing, LLC subcontracted with CW Seamless Gutters, *******, *****. My first complaint with the gutter company is that they refused to remove the old gutters. Their reasoning was, they did not want to damage the new roof. A representative from Steele Roofing came out and removed the gutters. In October 2023, my gutters were installed. When I did a walk around the house, an entire section was missing. They had not been installed. I contacted Steele Roofing, and shortly the missing gutter and downspout were installed. In late May 2024, a section of gutter failed. I contacted Steele Roofing the day of the failure. They contacted ************ and a representative came to evaluate the situation. He determined that the gutter needed to be replaced and we discussed adding an additional downspout to relieve that section of the gutter. The new section of gutter was replaced and another downspout added. Less than a week later, a different area of the same section of the newly replaced gutter failed again. I have contacted Steele Roofing via email and phone, and have not received a satisfactory response.

We are so sorry you felt as if you had an unpleasant experience with Steele Roofing. When we started your project, it had been determined that the previous gutter company INCORRECTLY installed your gutters as they were nailed with additional supports into the decking of the roof.When the issue was brought to our attention, we addressed it in a timely manner. The damage occurred after a severe storm. Although the damage to the gutter was NOT warranty related, they provided you with a BRAND NEW gutter run as a courtesy. When the issue arrised again with the gutter coming down, it was determined that your home has rotten fascia and would need to be replaced. Rotten facials is NOT covered under labor warranty. As we explained that there is no way to determine the current condition of the wood until a situation arises. Given all of the storms we had encountered we were unable to provide that service in a timely manner as our guys are 3-4 months booked out. We informed you that the damage was not warranty related. Our services are not FREE and repair work would be recommended to ensure the stability for the gutter to be reinstalled. We explained and recommended that it would best that you seek someone that could accommodate your facia repair in a timely manner since we are overbooked given the multitude of storms for the 2024 year. Our fascia guys were booked out 2-3months due to severe damaged homes sustained by the storms. We also explained that there would be a cost associated with another new run of gutter. Not to mention since the installtion of fall of ************************************** your area. Severe thunderstorms were issued on the following dates 5/8/24 4/26/24 - also tornado warning 3-5-24
