Response to listed items for dispute
My name is *********************** owner of Extreme Renovations, this is my response disputing the accusations from clients stating work that was not done properly or finished when that most accusations are false and client prevented me from completing by locking doors prior to allowing me to install transitions. I have pictures which will prove that they tampered with cabinets. I have video which shows the cabinet vanities are installed properly and light switches installed properly. Other video will show they moved light switches (client) after drywall work was complete which resulted in the claimed drywall damages. They also stated that transition wasnt installed but again was not able to install because homeowner changed the locks and wasnt able to complete, I had previously explained to them this was done at the end. My videos will show that the drywall she claims not complete was already in the process of being textured and once again wasnt able to complete the next day due to locked doors. ***************** was never in the picture; all previous communication was done between ***************** and me. I will also send a picture of her making a comment on my live video of the work done at that house, stating everything looks good, thank you. Which is completely opposite of what she is now claiming.
Below is some breakdown of response, I would like to show you pictures and proof of work completed. Please contact me so i could set an appointment for meeting, so that I can show pictures and walk you through the videos that show the work completed, the percentage of how much was completed and how close we were to wrapping it up prior to them locking us out.
1. Sheetrock 5/8 to : Contractor recommended not to install 5/8 due to chiplap wood boards already on ceiling ******. Adding 5/8 would cause sagging, House had 2x4 ceiling joyces over 12 ft expansion (not safe). Wasnt recommend because ceiling already had chiplap wood boards on ceiling joyces. ***************** agreed since, he didnt want to pay extra cost
2. Insulation was not installed because we were not given the opportunity to install due to being locked out prior to completing this, lock out was done when I requested final payment for electrical, and there were no electrical issues, our final inspection was passed by the **************************, and ***************** took the liberty to do his own work and tamper with light switches because he felt that they were too close to door ******. Electrician was charging $200.00 per hour so he decided to do the electrical himself which led to drywall damages and electrical not working properly after it had already passed final inspection,
3. Ext Prepping: was sitting for years without primer and paint which caused warping and huge gaps prior to us starting the job. (Did notify homeowner on this, contractor recommended to install new siding due to extensive damage, homeowner declined so we were working with siding provided, which limited us on what could be done for prepping)
4. Contractor did wash roof and do have videos to prove. House is about 100 years old metal roof was full of dents and rust, a wash will only due so much, it will not make it new
5. All doors were hung and also have videos
6. Transitions are normally installed at the end of completion.
7. Shingles of water heater closet were not on my contract; Regular roof was agreed, this was later added. homeowner wants a lot of stuff done but not in his budget or contract
8. Missing doors and stairs for water heater not in contract
9. Incomplete electrical ***************** passed all inspections with City, client moved electrical after on his own
10. Insulation wasnt installed because homeowner locked the door and changed locks when we asked for draw after electrical final passed, assuming he ran out of money
11. HVAC condenser was purchased by AC Company and homeowner broke contract when he stated he wanted to part ways, he threw my stuff out and locked doors so he wouldnt have to pay
12. Cabinets were complete when we left, and contractor also took the liberty to buy and extra cabinet for refrigerator
13. Patches was an extra because homeowner wanted us to add to island and extend 2 ft, we framed and did drywall and homeowner did not pay.
14. Rotten wood was replaced throughout home, but house had a lot of weather coloration because it had sat for years without primer and paint they chose not to replace and we worked with damaged wood, paint and prep would not repair damaged woodCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: Reponses given are not documented change orders that where agreed upon. Extreme renovations lied about work and repairs, tried getting away with it. Extreme Renovations claims I didn't want to upgrade ceiling sheetrock but we had already paid for upgrade. We should of been offered a refund according to the response. Property was locked after no one had performed work for weeks and work performed not level or professional Contractor mishandled funds asking for final draw half way through the project.. Extreme renovations stole paid for condenser (paid for with initial deposit to A/C ****). I the customer was forced to higher another HVAC contractor as A/C was remaining "loyal" to Extreme Renovations and not getting our material back. We requested said material but was never provided. Extreme renovations never mentioned that HVAC rough-in didn't pass and never had them make corrections.Electrical was moved by customer so the cover plates wouldn't be cut. Extreme Renovations said they would move but didn't complete.

1st complaint: she stated that electrical was not done right, have attached my copies from the ******************* to show that inspection passed.
2. She admitted to moving electrical because of plates- she tampered with electrical work, not licensed.
3 here is an email from electrician who was in meeting also with client stating that I never said that I would change voluntarily. *********** told me ******* that he could relocate for $200 per hour and client said no
4. she stated that work wasnt professional- I have live videos just weeks before where she responded everything looks great
5. She stated mishandled funds - pictures of work will show start to finish where the money went. The house was basically a shell and got it almost fully complete prior to them locking doors. Sent invoice on 3/29 asking for $3525 a draw for final electrical out of $12000 balance
6. she mentioned **** never passed - have a copy for my he city to show it passed
7. the reason electrical plates were close to the casing because client requested 1x4 casing instead of standar 2&3 qtrs
8. she stated she locked doors because we werent on site for weeks when I have pictures emails and videos throughout the month of march. Videos dated 3/7 and 3/28 and pictures and emails throughout the month
We passed electrical on 3/28, requested a draw on 3/29 then received email 3/31 with excuses that work wasnt done so they locked door. What a coincidence that they locked doors after invoice sent, they made false statements, tampered with cabinets and took pictures to try to show work wasnt done correctly when. I have pictures showing installed correctly prior to being locked out and then. Moving, they tried to create a false paper trail to cover themselves. My videos, pictures and emails alsong with copies are more than enough to show that they are false statements
