      This customer legally contracted to purchase a home months ago.  Consequently the customer is not entitled to a refund.  However we are in negotiations with her lender to apply those funds toweard the contract balance.

      Hello, Let me first start off by saying Manufactured Housing Consultants of ******** is a great company . I was able to work with **** and ****, both are wonderful. I had a great experience working with them both. I would still recommend them to anyone that is looking for a manufactured home. Although ****, helped me as much as possible, I was not able to get approved for a land/ home package. When I did start the process I made a deposit of $550.00. I did submit proof.. Since I was not able to get funding, I requested my $550.00 to be refunded back on August 1st, 2023. I was told in text message by **** it will take 1-3 weeks for the refund to be back into my bank account. As of Friday , August 25th,2023 I have not received my refund. I did call **** on 08/25/23 and he as well stated that he would look into it because he thought I had received it already. As of today, I have not gotten a follow up or refund back. At this point I don't want any apology. I have been more than patient and understanding in waiting . I just want my $550.00 back into my account asap.

      On June the 17 of 2023, we went to Manufactured Housing Consultants( MHC), on **** N I-35 Frontage Rd. *************, ** *****. **** assisted in ** finding a home we liked and we gave $500 cash deposit, a fee they required to see if we qualified for a bank loan. We discussed if home could be placed on moms property at ***************************************************************. We were told it should not be a problem. 7/8/2023 we were told they found financing thru a bank and it required $34, 680 down payment. We took cash 7/8/2023. 7/28/2023 ************** an assistant at MHC informed us that the county did not approve our home to be added on the septic system, to many homes already(3). 7/31/2023 we decided to call a surveyor to ask if property could be divided to add a second septic system, Bettersworth & associates, they said county would probably not approve. We then went to Guadalupe ************************** in Sequin, where we spoke to ******, she confirmed that we could not do a second septic in a 1 acre lot, which is what my mom has. On 7/28/ 2023 I had also reached out to ************************* Spetic Tanks, who 2021 installed new septic system for my mom, to ask if it was possible to get a bigger system to accommodate 2 double wide homes and the 1 single wide, they said no. Not enough property to sustain all the water flow for the homes. on 7/31/2023 we signed paperwork to get refund of our money since we can't set a home on property. They have not given us a date to receive our check back , and they have told us they will keep 5% of our down payment. We don't feel its right that they want to keep 5% as they only mentioned $500 fee for application process. When we talked to bank they said there would be no penalties for cancelling loan. At this point we just want our money back. We never signed a contract with the bank. There are no other options that are affordable to us at this time. We would like to have this resolved as quickly as possible as it has not been a pleasant experience.

      My husband and I went to this business with the hope of buying a "land home package". We were pre-approved for financing and they assured us that they would be able to find us land to put the home on. We paid $500 deposit and started the paperwork, which they NEVER gave us copies of! Fast forward 5 MONTHS later, these people presented us land that was for sale, and said it was acceptable for putting a manufactured home own, they rushed us to sign a sales contract and put down **** ******* money on it, then they let the closing day pass, told the owner we weren't buying without consulting us (they alleged that purchase that property would have put out cost $30 k over budget, but they never showed us the estimates, we're just supposed to take their word for it, I guess.)We were always last to know or kept in the dark. So not only did they cost me my $****, they put me in a position to be sued by the property owner, then had the nerve to try to make it seem like they were doing me a favor. They are in such a rush to sell homes and protecting their profit margin that they will put you as a consumer in position where you are not protected at all. They told us that if I didn't sign the document to release the ******* money to the seller, they would have to retain my 500 to cover that cost, but that was not our fault. This was our experience with this company, we lost $1500, we have no home to show for after, credit tied up for 5 months trying to close on a home and nothing to show for it.

      They won't give me my $500 refund They call and tell me that my check is ready but when I get there all they tell me is that the manager just left and took the checks they've done that to me three times

      ***************************** refund was issued on December 22, 2022.  Customer can pick up his check at the ****** office.  If he wants the check mailed just need the address to send the refund that was issued on 12/22/22.

      These people are ******************* I ordered a model I saw on the lot in **************. After putting down payment, they switched it with a different model. So I canceled the order & was told my down payment would be refunded within 7 days. It's been a couple months ********** haven't refunded the ************* & ******** have stopped answering my calls. DO NOT TRUST these people

      I am rejecting this response because: they are lying just as they lied to me when they said I would be refunded in 7 days. Let's see how many months "promptly" means in Manufactured Housing Consultants dictionary. I have not received any refund yet

      Customer refund was issued on their credit card ending **** on January 20, 2023.  Credit Card refunds can take up to 3 5o 5 business days to go back on customer credit card.
