Showed up based on a American Home Shield assignment. Immediately turned the situation into a 'Non Wear and Tear' related issue...even though it was and guess what? wanted $399 for the work because it was a LOT of work....10 min later he was ready for the credit card. Smacks of bad business practices taking advantage of people. At least be more creative in the amount you charge for shady work...but that would require not being greedy! Cost me a total of $500

I can copy paste the earlier comment from ************ for my review :). I should have literally took his **************** and avoided this company in the first place. In my case they quoted ~$400 where as others ~$200. Can't really comment on their work as I haven't went with them, but their charges seems to be ridiculous.

This company came out to fix my garage door opener covered under my home warranty policy with American Home Shield. Forty-five days after they installed the new opener my wife was opening the garage door to go out to the driveway and after it completely opened it fell, damaging the door. Had one of our pets or grandkids been under the door it would have killed them. The door was installed with two bolts with ****** pins attaching the bar that hooks the door to the chain that opens the door. HOWEVER, the bolt that is in the middle was held with a simple bolt and nut. I presume the installer lost the other bolt and ****** pin and put that on so he wouldn't have to come back. He couldn't tighten the nut on the bolt or the bar wouldn't pivot. I don't know when the nut came off, so it could have been days before the bolt popped out. I called this company and explained what happened and asked them to come out and fix the door. They said they would be happy to come out for $89. I said the problem was clearly poor installation. No matter. My warranty company wouldn't do anything because it was past the thirty day period. This poor workmanship was not just bad, it was dangerous.
