Both of our cars received broken windows from hail damage back in September. But they did a horrible job! Our Prius window back glass seems warped. It is not quality glass and it is just weird to look through. They left broken glass in our hatch and every time you open it it sounded like a rain stick. They also installed the handle upside down as well as the rear wiper was installed upside down. They did fix the wiper after I brought it back. The owner said we would have to take it to a body shop to get the glass out. They did not connect the wires that go to the defrost. They fixed that too after I brought it back, but accused me of taking it somewhere else and that person disconnected it. The front window does not sit in the casing right. They also say that is because it is warped but is somehow our fault. They broke the clips that hold it up when they took it off to remove the broken windshield. The clips that hold the inside plastic on the rear hatch, inside, are also broken. When we got the bad rain. water came in through a gap on the top of the windshield and shorted out some wires. The ** did not work, the radio does not work, the speedometer was going crazy! And our carpet and headliner is flooded. The owner is saying we tampered with the window. But did agree to replace it. They did admit that the glue they used did not adhere to the frame in a few places on the windshield which resulted in rain coming through. They will not do anything about the fact that we had to replace the alternator and are very concerned with all the other corrosion in the wires. We are without our van until we can get a mechanic to give it an inspection to make sure it is safe to drive. There is still obviously wires affected because the radio is not working. I already spoke with a lawyer who advised that we get a mechanic to test all of the electronic components in the dash to verify water damage, and then we will be able to file a lawsuit against this location.
