I never received a response. On may *********************************************************** later saying he explained my concerns 6 years into ownership and was assured someone would contact me in a few days. Sent a text on may 28, no response, sent another text jun 5, no response. I don't want to go the legal route, I just want my building fixed. I have the text message chains if needed.Initial Complaint

Winslows Inc Custom Buildings have failed to accept my orders from Hunt County Court and the death certificate of my brother. I have been yelled at and threatened by more than one worker at Winslows Inc Custom Buildings in Wills Point, Texas. It is my understanding, your company first called ******, then my mother and my sister, both on August 10, 2023. Both my mother and my sister called back to your company promptly. My mother told Linda that it was in probate and Linda continued to get nastier and nasiter to her and made demands. My elderly mother told her than she would have to talk to her daughter, ****** sister (admin of the estate). The admin of the estate promptly called Linda. Linda was not nice. She demanded payment where I repeatedly told her that we just recieved the death certificate and just filed probate. I offered to send her the a copy of the death certificate and my powers from the court. She continued to demand payment. I told her that my powers don't allow me to pay bills at this time and I am to gather financial information and put things on hold at this time. However, she only demanded my email address. I requested all documents to show financial records with Winslows. I am entitled to see the contract, lease agreements, payments made, term and so forth. Linda said that she would send all of that information to me. She failed to do so.` Furthermore, she requested that I remain in contact with her and would update her. I obliged to that to wrap up the phone call. On Friday, August 11, I called Linda again because she still had not emailed the documents. She again denied my request. She stated that **** never missed a payment until now. She stated that he has missed two payments since he died. I explained again that I just got the power to find financials. It is a process to pull bank records. She became extremely rude and continued to demand payment and threatened to come take the building. After continuing to agrue on the phone, I reminded her that just yesterday she told me to keep her updated and I told her that I would. She also demanded to talk to my attorney. However, if you want to talk to my attorney regarding this particular manner...it would be Winslows cost to cover that call. We again left the phone call with the agreement that we would do check ins every couple of weeks and/or if I recieved a quicker update. The company never returned my sister phone call. Wednesday, August 17, 2023 we recieved an email that I attached which stated that Life Force Distributing, Inc. dba Winslow's Custom Buildings/Texwin Carports plans to file a lien for unpaid work in the amount of $15,930.86. This I found entirely threatening and against the verbal agreement we had agreed upon. There was never a demand for more than catching up payments until this time. Today, August 18, 2023, I called and spoke to a girl who told me she would have the owners call me and for me to leave a voicemail for her boss. I left a voicemail and requested a call back at 11:45 a.m. I recieved a call from someone at 4:20 p.m. that I did not leave a voicemail, Rhonda who was demanding as well. I explained everything to her and she stated the financials were confidential and demanded payment. She told me that the lein will cause a lot of fees. I offered my letters and death certificate and I asked for an email. I also told her that my attorney told me that it should be on hold pending probate, now that it was open. Then, I was transferred to the owner, Mike at 4:35ish. Mike (one of the owners) again refused my letters from the court and death certificate. I again requested all the financial records associated with my brother and asked for this to be on hold as we await for the process from the court which should be in a matter of weeks. We are moving as fast as possible. However, once again, my request was denied and payment was demanded. Mike chose to tell me at 4:45 p.m. that it was the end of the day and hung up on me. However, Winslows is open until 6:00 on a Friday. It is my understanding that you are open M-F 8-6 p.m. and Sat 9-3 p.m. Despite not being provided an email address for Winslow's Buildings. I took it upon myself to find one online. However, it is a non-working email and it was sent back immediately with a permanent error. I do not deserve the ill treatment by anyone associated with Winslows. I would like a copy of everything for my brothers transaction, including and not limited to the contract, lease, term, payments submitted, payoff, etc. I have no problem emailing a copy of the death certificate and my powers given to me in the letters from the court. I have tried to submit this information numerous times. Winslows/Tex Inc has repeatedly refused and continue towards putting a mechanical lein for two missed payments since my brother died. In fact, I will attach letters from the court, death certificate, lein warning/money request, proof of wrong contact and hours. Notice the first contact to us was made on August 10, 2023. I would like a formal apology from Linda, Rhonda and Mike.Business Response

The plaintiff is this case is not a customer of mine, her brother was, I have a rent to own contract with him but he passed away. She claiming this is part of the estate she is taking over and there we must leave the building there. The building is not paid for, it still belongs to me!
Your company should not accept complaints from unverified sources like this she is not a customer! She is just trying to steal my building. She doesn't want to pay for it, she feels she has the right to keep it. Its like she expects the water company to keep suppling her water because her brother had water.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because I have letters from the court that gives me the power to get my brothers financials. I have requested the contract, the terms, the lease, the payments submitted, the payoff, etc.Yes, my brother passed away and I am handling it. That means I am the administrator of his affairs. However, as I explained before...no one pays bills without the records. Winslows is refusing to provide me with court ordered documents, especially because I submitted the death certificate and my letters from the court on 3 platforms; mail, email and BBB.
I AM NOT trying to steal this building. I never said I wouldn't be paying for it, if we choose to have it go with the land. I said I need the full financials, as I literally just found out that there was a rent to own situation, which to me, would mean its partially owned by my brother. (According to my math calculations, Winslows actually have been given the money that building would be worth by my brother anyway.
Furthermore, we have the right to personal property in buildings on the land.
Winslows does not have the right to deny me these records. Nor, does Mike (an owner) or any other employee have the right to threaten me and hang up on me. That is poor customer service. Besides, if I was to choose to pay for the building, I would be a future customer...how disrespectful and rude.
Sincerely,

Condolences for Mrs ******* loss, we recognize she is the administrator of the estate, our property is not part of that estate the courts granted her power over her brother property, not ours, we rented her brother a building and rental property is not part of any estate. A rent to own agreement recognizes no ownership until the all payments are made. We recognize she is in a dilemma and we have not yet taken possession of our building. She can complete the terms of her brother agreement if she wants. She should contact our office and say so.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: It remains a matter of probate. Again, your company has failed to provide me with financials, terms, payments made, etc. per my letters from the court. Furthermore, I don't deserve to be hung up on, threatened and yelled at on the phone. Nor should I be lied to that you will give me that information at first. I have been trying to gather all of my brothers' financials in order to move forth and you continue to refuse to provide me with that information.A business should first acknowledge condolences, then listen and work with a person for the best outcome for everyone.
Sincerely,

I purchased and had installed a 30x50 texwin metal building on ***** Nov 2022. After the first rain, I saw that all three windows and walk-in door leaked. After almost 2 months, they finally came back out and attempted to resolve the issue by stuffing foam rubber around the windows and then laying a bead of caulk over that. At the next rain, I still have 2 windows and the door leaking. Once again, i have sent emails to the company as phone calls just fall on deaf ears, asking for them to honor their warranty. To this point I have once again gotten zero response.Business Response

I received an email from ***************** today and responded today, 2/8/2023 that I would have someone contact him about his leaks. I have checked phone records and I dont see any calls from him since we went out to repair his leak in January ( three weeks ago) of this year, I also have not ever received an from him until today. His comments about not responding to warranty are unfair.Initial Complaint

Sorry for the misunderstanding, Our contract states the the processing fee is non refundable but we would rarely hold money unless we attempted delivery or other expense related activity. *********** called to cancel at around 2 pm Friday, while the office manager was out but we have already processed the refund this am.
