We used this place of business to replace a full set of tires and replaced front rotors and brakes since they advised us about them being worn. We used the vehicle a few days for work and them we took a 6 hour trip for Thanksgiving. On the way home, about 4 miles getting to our house the brakes gave out and I couldn't stop the car at the light. I pulled into a restaurant to see what was going on with the vehicle. When I parked the car, the brake fluid starting gushing out and the caliper was open and the brake pad was damaged. It appears that they failed to tighten or add a bolt to the caliper that caused this. We were very fortunate that we did not cause an accident or injure anyone, especially driving through interstates and major highways coming into DFW. I had my family with me and it could have been a very tragic scenario if something would've happened along the major highways. I cannot stop thinking about it now and will never forget that we could've seriously been injured and possibly lost our lives by this faulty work that was done to our vehicle. We had the vehicle towed that night to the place of business and it was worked on Monday morning. The owner made it a priority to look at it and fix the issue. They couldn't explain why it happened and said they can't control if it was faulty equipment or we had done something to it being that the work had been done a week before. He showed no sympathy and did not help in any other way to make this right for us other than, fix the issue. I tired to talk to him and put himself in my shoes with my family. This business needs to be evaluated and make sure that they have certified technicians that know how to do the job right, especially if they're working on vehicles customers depend on for their daily livelihood. The only thing the owner offered me was a credit towards our next purchase with them. I advised that I will never do business with them again.
