Worked with one of their broker(***********************) who ended up to be a complete fraud. Refused to pay the whole amount owed to us and agreed for 11 hour detention. Our truck ended up having a breakdown 45 minutes to delivery address. We asked the to recover the freight but they completely disappeared. We couldn't get the truck fixed that evening since it was thanksgiving eve. Ended up getting the unit fixed that Friday after thanksgiving and we headed to delivery. Unfortunately the receiver was closed and the broker told us we need to hold the freight till Monday but he refused to pay for the 3 day layover since he blamed us for the breakdown. We suggested the other truck to recover since it had 4 pallets same as ours which had 4 pallets but refused. Mind you the other truck had been loaded 1 hour before us and they couldn't deliver Wednesday since the receiver was already closed by the time they got there and the same broker was refusing to pay us saying we missed the delivery window despite being loaded 1 hour after the other truck which never made the window too but was getting paid to wait till Monday. Anyway we contacted the customer on the *** seeking resolution and he ended forcing the broker to recover using the same option we had offered. We were dedicated $500 for recovery despite us driving all the way to receiver and also refused to pay the whole amount owed on detention from the shipper and after complaining to the company went ahead and filed a fraudulent freight guard report saying that we was holding the freight hostage and contacted the customer asking for more money which is a total lie. All the conversation with the broker was on email form and we have all the evidence on the conversation and also forwarded it to the company yet no resolution
