    I am leaving this review as a cautionary to future renters, do not use this company. I rented this property in 2022. They charged me three times the rent. For the deposit ,I paid $4500 deposit. I moved out over 30 days ago, I had the carpets professionally cleaned, and I hired a professional cleaner to come and clean after reading the other reviews about how they overcharge for cleaning and carpets, so I decided to be proactive. $900 of my deposit was nonrefundable. It was in the lease however when I finally got my deposit back after 30 days they made you wait, they still took an additional $65. Told me it was for trimming the back tree, I understand I was responsible for the backyard, but that was like for pulling weeds. Never have I ever heard a tenant having to trim a tree, which was the same, as when I moved in. And as far as the front yard that is the *** responsibility not the tenants and this *** only comes and does yardwork once a year. I even asked him to cut the **** back way back because it overgrows. I do not think they shouldve charged me the extra for the lawn care since They had already tripled my deposit and they couldve taken it out of the $900, when they normally only get $300-$600 for their administration fees as they call it. I truly feel they took advantage of the situation. When they finally did send my deposit back they just sent it regular mail no tracking number with **** , no *** no ****** I truly feel that I was discriminated, Cause I was an outsider coming into **********, and because I had a college student living with his grandmother. I truly feel unwelcome in this city now because of this company. Please do your research before you move here, but do not use this property management company. And I go as far as to say if you want to buy or sell your home home do not use ERA Realty it this is a reflection of how their company operates and treats their customers Potential clients.
