I've had this system in place for just over a year. I've had nothing but issues with it. I paid $11,000 because I wanted to help this small family company that was recommended to me by a friend and I water my lawn by hand half the time anyway. So far Ive needed to replace 3 solenoids, a tee off connection to the main line, 2 sprinkler heads, and one head was installed so that all it does is spray my neighbors house. The "amazing" sprinkler control box is glitchy as h*** and doesn't work most of the time.MW did come fix the tee off the main line for free, but I haven't even been able to get them to message me back about the other stuff. It's so disappointing to spend such a large sum of money and have it not even hold up a year later.

Let me state my side of the story. We take ten percent down on a job to reserve a spot for the customer. We haggled with them over pricing until mid-September, we tried to back out of the job twice, but they insisted on hiring us because of a previous job that we did. I kept giving new bids, because the customer kept changing the parameters of the job. I have and never would give a customer my job rates or product costs, this is bad business. I give my customers a more than fair rate, and quality product for what they pay for. From July to September, I changed my bid five times, due to the customers requests. Eventually we settled on a number, but I told them I had no money in the quote for anything that *** come up, that is unforeseen. After convincing us to take the job, after we were ready to back out of it a second time, we began the work in I think September, mid to late of the month. I removed the top four or five inches of dirt to make room for rock on the park strips they wished to change. I bury my irrigation lines ***** inches deep, sometimes less, sometimes more depending on soil conditions. I never expected to hit the irrigation lines, I did. Since the lines were so shallow, I ripped the out of the ground, what I hit and kept hitting. I didn't want to remove the lines either, but it was unavoidable to miss them, since i had to go down to a depth of 4-5 inches. They had ***** heads on the park strip, I threw six of them away, plus I gave them another 15 brand new heads. The main reason for keeping the lines is because of this; they told us if they ever move, it would be nice for the new homeowners to be able to have the irrigation present. I found where the lines came out from under the sidewalk and I stubbed risers out of the mulch so they could be easily located if ever needed. Since this client has never aerated their yard, because of the shallow lines, this would be a blessing for new owners. They were happy throughout, their review is a surprise.

We started consulting with this landscaper in July, finally got work done in Oct. The biggest problem with this landscaper is communication. **** did two different jobs for us. The first job was great, got our sprinklers working. The second job was subpar and way overpriced for the quality of work. He worked approx 6 hours on total job, verified by cameras on property and billed us over $6K. He was supposed to leave all the sprinkler lines alone in our park strip, pull the heads and cap them. He destroyed half of the heads, ripped out all the line. We paid good money to have all of that there, to see all that money down the tube, because he didn't do what he was supposed to do. We sat and watch the video of him violently ripping the hose out of the ground from one end to the other. The only decent thing he did, is when we called him on it, he rounded up some sprinkler heads and gave them back to us, but the rest we are out and will have to pay to have it re-done (no discount for the damage), if we choose to go back to grass in our park strips. I asked a ton of questions, trying to understand their contract, as they don't define anything as to what is labor, materials, etc. At the beginning, he just kept firing off new quotes every time I asked a question. Would not communicate verbally. We were promised three different times that we were on the schedule, when in fact we were not. Every time we talked to them, it seemed there was another issue or "emergency" that was keeping them from our project. We paid them just to get them off our property. The best I can do is leave a review to warn people, this is what you are getting yourself into with this guy. The only reason I am giving this guy two stars instead of one, is that he brought us back sprinkler heads. I would not recommend to anyone!
