This company is horrible and possible using all tactics to force employees to forfeit money from FSA accounts by using any way to deny claims including when all legal documentation has been submitted include patient name, services provided and financial amounts. I was told on my last call by the agent that all of the correct information was there; however less than 12 hours later, HealthEquity re-denied the claim saying they lacked information. If your company uses HealthEquity for it's FSA handling, skip the option and just do the tax write off on your 1040HealthEquity, Inc. Response

My Lockheed ****** HSA account was transferred from BW to HE when BW shutdown. I had a significant amount of investment $ with BW which also got transferred, in the middle of May. Ever since I have been trying to get an accurate accounting of how many shares got transferred, then sold involuntarily because they didn't offer that particular extremely popular ************** then purchased another alternative (inferior to original) fund, plus the dividends I was owed, plus excess amounts from HSA that are supposed to go to investments, etc; however, there are absolutely no statements of activity available, and here it is July 9th. I have contacted HE via there chatbot and was lied to when I asked if it was a person, when it clearly was not, and they refused to answer my demand for a statement, just kept redirecting me to see the website, even after I told '*******' that there was ZERO investment statements where 'it' directed me to go. The fact that customer reviews do not affect their ******************** rating is downright fraudulent. How can a company with nothing but complaints and 1 star reviews have a A+ rating.HealthEquity, Inc. Response

Terrible customer service. I have my FSA with this company. I call the number on the back of my card and guess what, they can never find me. Turns out Im with wage works, which was acquired by health equity. So every time I call, it feels like Im a stranger and I have to be transferred. What in the literal hell!?!?! The representatives could not sound more uninterested. I submitted a FSA reimbursement claim. It was denied. I submitted 3 documents, one of which had the service date. I spoke to a re who said she had the three attachments. But she could not see the service date. I said thats weird to which she immediately said yeah, that is weird. I get it, they were just trying to **** me off because I was already upset. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and unbecoming. But I guess thats why we dont have health equity in the worldHealthEquity, Inc. Response

I had to switch HSA's due to an employer change. I did not pick Health Equity **** (HEI) by choice. I submitted a Rollover Transfer Form on June 18. I chatted with an associate on June 20 to see if *** had received my form. I was informed by the associate that it had not been received and was advised to send it to them and they would process it. I attached it to the chat.07:25 AM | ****** from HealthEquity: Hello there, ******! Thanks for chatting with HealthEquity today, my name is ******. I hope you're having a fantastic day! Please allow me just a moment while I pull up your account so I can better assist you! The next day, June 21, $8000+ was drafted from my bank account. *** drafted my rollover TWICE. After 3 phone calls on Friday to HEI to try to get my money back, I finally spoke with a Supervisor who told me there was nothing that she could do. That I would have to wait at least 2-3 business days before I received my $4457 back in my account. As you can imagine, this has caused me extreme hardship due to a mistake made my HEI. Not only did she say 2-3 business days, she said for me to not expect to get my money back before next Wed or Thurs, which I clarified is actually 4-5 days. I received an email Friday evening, saying "Hello ******, Based on the notes for your case, the issue with your rollover was taken care as of today. Keep an eye on your account and please contact ************** anytime if things aren't settling the way it should. Have a great day." It is now Monday June 24, I still do not have my refund pending in my account, maybe it will resolve itself tonight hopefully, but also my HSA is showing a negative balance of -$4226. Explain that one? *** took over 8 grand from me, when it was only supposed to be 4 and now my HSA is reflecting a negative 4 thousand dollar balance. This makes no sense. There is no reason for HEI's systems to take so long to update when you are messing with peoples money.HealthEquity, Inc. Response

My MSA was transferred to HealthEquity in late April from Benefit Wallet. I received a HeathEquity debit card in early May. Every time I tried to use the card at my pharmacy I was rejectedeven though I had $1100 in the account. I was told it was frozen when I called, but never told why. About 7 weeks later, after many phone calls and cases openedand many assurances that it would be taken care of I finally found out today why my account was frozen. It turns out I had a 12 cent overdraft on a HSA I had with Health Equity FOUR YEARS AGO so they froze my new HSA. No letter informing me of the overdraft, no answers when I called multiple times. The have $1100 of my money that they earn interest onand I receive no credit.but they cant just write off a 12 cent debit. I ended up asking them to transfer 12 cents from my new MSA and they agreed to do so. I would give them 0 stars but they required me to give them at least 1 or I wouldnt be able to leave this message.HealthEquity, Inc. Response

I have been returning someone else's account statements for YEARS. I have also made phone calls informing your company that there is no one living here by the name *********************. I have submitted the form for account closure on the May 18th of May. I received an email from them on the 20th of May 2024 acknowledging that they have received the form. Meanwhile my money goes from $0.00 to the entire amount of funds in have in their system. Not once but multiple times during the waiting period. The money goes in and out of my account except going into the verified account for EFT which was verified since May 18th of May. It is now June 15, 2024 and ***** I tried to chat with their bots and then directed to their agents, but each has different answers. Yesterday 6/14 i was told that the agent will reissue it but am seeing same activity in my account. You are not playing with people's money. You are playing with people's lives.HealthEquity, Inc. If I could rate ZERO stars, I would. I'm a business owner trying to cancel ***** services with Health Equity, and they are making the process unbelievably difficult. It's clear that their goal is to string us along so they can continue to collect premiums while they run us in circles. I would recommend anyone shopping for ***** services to GO ELSEWHERE. This company is completely unethical...and based on all of the negative reviews on BBB, it's stunning to me that they are still in business.HealthEquity, Inc. Response
