Liars . I won a bid on conveyor belt . In the title description it says unused / new conveyor belt . Had my friend drive down to Vegas to pick it up . He said dude this belt is used . They lied . I called them told them I was a customer of 3 years . I wasn’t paying for false advertisement . They verified it was used and said ok . Thought the problem was solved . They later made it to where I can’t bid for 5 years!!!! I called them to discuss , First Lady was nice . Then her boss Lee from Las Vegas was totally rude and disrespectful from the get go. I said i thought this was all cleared up? Then boom a huge attitude !!!he wouldn’t listen . Totally telephone tough guy!!!

I won and paid for an auction There system asked where I wanted my item shipped to which is different then my account address. Well, that form was a waste of time because it still shipped the item to my account address. I called to get the problem corrected an was told I had to pay for another fed ex label if I wanted the address changed. Buyer beware this company is incompetent and there customer service is terrible.

I registered to participate as a bidder with ***************************** and paid a lot of attention to the lot of vehicles that were available to bid on. I participated in the priority bidding and time auction up until I was bamboozled out of a vehicle.. I would have taken my loss and tried again if I had not clearly won the vehicle I will attach all supporting documents. I reached out to customer service to get a clearer understanding and explained several times that this was my first attempt at an online auction. I also explained to them that I am accountable for my ignorance but not one representative could provide me with the same explanation, ****** said that they automatically add another 2 minutes after the auction closes to give all participants a chance and to keep someone from chiming in at the last minute . well the bidder that one was last minute and they granted he/ she multiple chances to win the bid when I clearly won it? Secondly, I was told by **** that the website says that they can add more time multiple times but what I read was every auction is sold to the highest bidder when the bidding closes. If it does not close at the bidding close time don't post a time???. I think this was deliberately prolonged and hated that my first experience was not owned and that these unfair practices are evident how RItchie Brothers conduct their auctions. It is not designed for the highest bidder to win at the close of the auction it is RIGGED.

Bidder #*****, auction #********, auction date 2022/06/03 We purchased a semi trailer, 2 TMG shed kits, some construction equipment, and pallets of cement blocks from this auction which is about 200 miles away from where we live. We hired a driver to pick up the load and hired a Ritchie ***** recommended fork lift driver to load the semi trailer we purchased in that auction. The driver brought our merchandise to us as planned. We trusted RB would ensure we got everything we had purchased. Our experiences with other auction houses we have bought from over the years have been good and went as expected. The Buyer bids, wins, & pays for their auction purchases. After receiving proof of payment the Seller / auction house ensures the Buyer gets the items for which they paid. That is not what happened with us.One of the lots we bought was a 25x33 metal shed kit that was pictured as having two boxes. When we unloaded the semi we found we were given only one box and not two as shown in the photos. In other words we got an incomplete shed kit which is useless as it is. Another lot of concrete block was knocked over and the blocks were scattered on the ground instead of being neatly stacked as shown in the photos. We had to pay the forklift driver for an extra 3 hours while he gathered, restacked, and rewrapped them in plastic before he could load them on the semi.We tried many times to contact someone at RB in Phoenix to resolve this issue but no one has returned ours calls. We lodged a complaint with the BBB and got no response from RB. My hope with this complaint is that someone from Ritchie ***** will do the right thing: contact us to resolve our situation and see that we get the other half of our shed.

I purchased a 2016 ****** Tacoma from an Auction (GovPlanet) only to find out the vehicle has reconstructed title or repaired salvage title. In the standard offer prior to the auction, they encouraged you to perform an inspection prior to placing a bid but it was impossible to do so as the seller (PENN DOT) would not allow anyone or inaccessible. Additionally, RB concealed the **** When contacting RB, they said PennDot would not allow them to reveal the **** however after the auction and paid, RB revealed the *** and I found out the vehicle has a salvaged title. When contacting PennDot, its representative said that it was up to RB.So I contacted the RB rep who had a business relationship with PennDot, he simply ignored my email, I then escalated to the **** same, no response and then to the **** she simply ignored my email. I am now stuck with a vehicle with a salvaged title !!!! so y'all need to be careful dealing with Ritchie Brothers, their practices are questionable, shady and possibly unethical.
