      5/31/23 My birthday I received food delivered that was cold, only half the plate was filled, old tomatoes on my birthday, the meat in the burrito was cold, none of the sauces I ordered were there. The enchiladas were small, stale and cold, and there was a small amount of rice on the plate. The tres leches birthday cake was stale (on my birthday), and they did not have the drinks I ordered.

      I tried to call the corporate office but was unsuccessful. I submitted the complaint provided below via their "contact us" link on their webpage on 12 September 2022. I have received no response from Costa Vida. I hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner in Woods Cross, UT the evening of 3 Sep 2022. I paid for a Burrito Bar for 40 people, delivered and set up, plus I prepaid a 20% tip. I made four trips to the Woods Cross Costa Vida to ensure everything was properly planned: about a month out I met with the catering manager on my second visit after being told to return when the manager was available; on 31 August where I was told to return the next day when the manager was in; and on 1 September where I was told the manager was too busy and to talk to the shift manager. I insisted to look at the catering manager eyeball to eyeball where she finally walked up and looked at me and then turned over the business to the shift manager without saying a word and walked off. The catering was scheduled for 6:30 pm on 3 September. About 6:15 pm I received a call from Costa Vida telling me the food would be 20 minutes late. At 7:12 pm after no delivery I called Costa Vida and asked where the food was. I was told "we were busy but it was almost there." The food did show up and was approximately 55 minutes late. The setup guy did not provide heated trays and flame warmers as was requested, and there was no silverware or plates provided. About 1/3 of my guests had already departed. My experience with Costa Vida is unacceptable and I request a full refund.
