Solar panels have never worked and installers caused massive damage to my new roof. Sunlight Financial and Launch Servicing have been zero help in resolving these issues. I have filed several complaints with Sunlight and Launch and they keep closing my cases. How can consumers get support for these issues, according to the other reviews, many consumers have been affected by this scam. There should be a Case Action Lawsuit against Encor Solar and their leadership members, as well a a suit against the finance companies for not resolving consumer issues.

My solar panels have not work since they were installed 2.5 years ago. I have gotten the run around and they are out of business. How do I get my $25,000 back?

The company had a great sells guy that sold ** on a solar system. After we signed everything went down hill. Nearly everything they said they would do they fail to do except send us a bill.

Bad company. Faulty service, electrical hookup only half done and critter guards for bird control never installed. We paid another company to install them. Encor said they would reimburse us. That was in November of 2023.

Just found out Encor is out of business. I need to have my system checked but they are not out of business. Cannot contact anyone about this situation. Very frustrated with this company. I may be stuck paying for all of my energy from Duke and my payment for the system.

Frustrated with Encor Solar: ************ and No Communication Date: Jan 31, **** I'm writing to highlight my frustration with Encor Solar after my solar panel system was installed in November 2023. Despite repeated attempts to contact their support via text for the past two months, I've received no responses, leaving me uncertain and frustrated about my system's connection and approval status with the Energy Company.Four months post-installation, and I'm still unable to use the system I paid for. I've been diligently paying the lender, despite the system not being operational and my electric bills skyrocketing. This lack of communication and action from Encor Solar is unacceptable, questioning their efficiency and customer service. The process shouldn't take this long, and I'm now considering legal avenues to ensure my system gets connected promptly. This experience has been extremely disappointing, significantly affecting my perception of Encor Solar's reliability and customer service. I advise potential customers to be cautious of these significant service failures.

When I agreed to buy the panels, it was stipulated in the contract that if the panels were offline for over a month, I would expect reimbursement for the month that the panels may be down. As I had purchased the panels during Covid, some parts were hard for Encor to get their hands on during original installation. I understand that. And they made good on the agreement. They paid for any time the panels were down. Having said that, I had a period from mid Sept 2023 until late Nov 2023 in which my panels were off line due to a problem with an inverter. I did receive the inverter within about a week or so, no problem. It took several phone calls and nearly two months to get Encor to arrange a tech to come to my house and install the inverter I was sent. So, I requested the reimbusement. After six weeks of "All of our managers are out today" or "Our computers are down now" and any number of other excuses, I now have been told I am on a "list for reimbursement" for ONE month of reimbursement only! No timetable or expectation on when the check will be mailed out. All operators with Encore say they will follow up, but I have not had a single follow up call during the two months I was trying to get the inverter replaced (under warranty) or the six weeks I've been chasing them down for the reimbursement. My loan for the panels has been sold to Good Leap (which is by comparison a dream to deal with), but since Encore now has my money as they sold the loan to Good Leap, Encor now has no vested interest in me as a client. I wish at this point I had Never agreed to Encore. Their rating was actually good when I researched them at the time of purchase, but has gone straight down since then. So, Buyer Beware!!!

The process of getting solar began for ** in October 2022. Today, January 12, 2023, we still aren't using the system. Delays caused our financing to expire. Then, the system was installed, but failed inspection multiple times. Finallly we received an email explaining how to activate our system and that it was ready. However, there wasn't a meter installed. Encor explained that we were waiting for the power company to install the meter. After 2 months of messaging, we found out that Encor hadn't provided the correct paperwork to our power company. That occurred over a week ago. Still no information from Encor and as of yesterday, our power company hasn't received the appropriate documentation. I am paying for a solar system that isn't connected. I feel like evertime I speak to an Encor employee, I get lip service. So very frustrated and will do everything I can to ensure this company does NOT do any more business in my city We will be speaking with a lawyer to explore legal options. Terrible company.
