I have had unwanted contact from this company. I went to their website (Utah short sales.com) and have been harassed with emails and phone calls. I have tried to unsubscribe from those mailing list but the link only leads me back to their website. I have sent an email to the real estate agent asking to be removed from the contact list. During the summer of 2022, we didn't have any AC or cooling until the 2nd week of August. Temperatures inside were anywhere from 80-90 degrees. Landlord didn't offer any kind of solution to get us through the summer. I work from home and was forced to be there. When the "handyman" winterized the swamp cooler in the Fall of 2021, he said they were replacing them. The landlord didn't order a new swamp cooler until mid-May 2022. The roof leaks, there are big holes in the foundation and outside walls, which allowed for water and pests to enter the dwelling. Again, no solution was provided. When I contacted him about my fears with the roof leaking causing an electrical fire because the light fixtures would go out after any amount of rain, his response was "Well you have renters insurance, right?" having no regards for mine and my family's safety.Initial Complaint

I've made several maintenance requests to this company and they have neglected these repairs and at times ignored my attempts at reaching out. I've tried to explain them that these are hazards and health and safety concerns due to leaks causing water damage, mold, and structural damage, electrical shortages and outages that last hours sometimes. I would like these repairs fixed and agreement that these damages won't be taken out of my security deposit at the end of my lease. I'm not sure where else to go with this issue because I've tried filing an official complaint with the company but that only led to someone coming to check on it and have still yet to fix the issues or have any further contact with me about it. I've also tried going through the real estate license for the state and national, but there is a loop hole where the realtor/employees that are in charge of the property do not fall under the right category to have any resolution. There are also online reviews of the company from previous tenants having similar issues, but still having zero luck with getting answers or fixes. I spoke with someone from the company on 3/9 about my complaint I made through their website, but with no fixes still yet and no concern or attempt at trying to make repairs. The last contact I had was 3/10 when the maintenance came to check on the leak and would come back with "a game plan" but have not heard back since then. There are clear ethical violations through the National Association of Realtors ethical guidelines, but since they fall under the loophole, my complaint with them was not accepted. I've attached a few of the e-mails of my trying to get them to fix the repairs and of me notifying them of the issues and of the safety concerns. Any help that I can get with this would be greatly appreciated. I know that one of my options is to move out, but I am concerned that this will be an issue for the next tenant since there are reviews of the same thing happening to others.
