1 starI will NEVER use America First Credit Union again. Their practices are completely unreliable and dishonest. I was lied to multiple times by different representatives, given conflicting information, and left in the dark when it mattered most. They clearly do not value their members or operate with any integrity. If you're looking for a trustworthy financial institutionkeep looking. This place is a nightmare.Review fromTom S

1 starTotally unwilling to help with loan and credit cards. I needed to modify my car loan and credit card. absolutely no help at all. They offered no decrease in interest. Instead took my payments out to 84 months on the credit card and gave me 4 months on my car loan, and then it goes right back to an unaffordable payment. As son as I Pay off America First Credit Union, I will take my business to Cyprus Credit Union. They are sincere and treat you like a human being. 1 starI wish there was a 0 star option. I have had to call America First nearly every month to make my car loan payment, my autopay quit going through and nobody was able to tell me why it stopped running. The third month I had to call them, they let me know that they "couldn't find my title". In addition to losing my title, the representative guaranteed that he reinstated my monthly autopay from my bank account. Spoiler alert: he didn't. and I was nearly late on another payment the next month. I am hoping to find and refinance my 2019 car elsewhere, but am now worried about the other ratings because that doesn't seem like it'll happen smoothly either. Nobody I've spoken to has been able to give me a clear answer on any question or any ability to resolve the issues I come to them with that they created.Heads up on their website, they don't have any way for you to find your full account number online. The only place I can find my account number is on the original paperwork I got when I signed the loan information.I wish I had researched this credit union before using them for my car loan, I would take a higher percentage rate to avoid working with people who seem like they are unable to process simple banking processes.Review fromJoanna G

Horrible service, I try to make payments and everytime the transaction was rejected or decline by the bank, so I have to waste my time to go in person they said everything is ok, hours later I try to use it to buy my lunch and was decline again and thats being the last 2 years I dont recommend this bank, you will stressed out a lot with them

Absolutely horrible! I tried multiple methods to payoff my loan even using their, card, checking and wire method which charges me. They rejected ALL of them. Had to drive an hour away to payoff my loan because they ****. Weeks later, they send me an email that I am going to be charged for my monthly autopay. I spend HOURS on the phone. They assure me this cannot happen since my account is closed. Wake up today. THEY CHARGED ME $750 OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR MY CLOSED PAID OFF CAR LOAN. This company is absolutely the WORST company ever. PLEASE RUN AWAY.America First Credit Union

I work at a dealership, and everyone I work with, including myself, all agree this is the worst credit union to work with! Especially when it comes to payoffs. I dread having to call them for anything regarding our customers.America First Credit Union

Several weeks ago I sought to take out and then fund one of it's CD's. The overall process eventuated as an exceedingly protracted, and likewise quite ridiculous undertaking.. So ultimately I gave up. However, in the interim a type of credit/debit card was issued to me by mail, even though I had never solicited such. Thereafter, I simply shredded ******** I emailed the credit union, and ending up doing so multiple times as several different of its representatives kept responding. Included my emails were provided several elements of personal identification, e.g., the account number initially assigned to me.The express purpose of today's email was an explicit request that that registered card information as well as all other forms of data earlier supplied be eliminated from their system, as well as ceasing contacting me, either by email or ******* requests were repeatedly refused.Finally, I ceased attempting to have my simple, straightforward requests honored.America First Credit Union

I bought a car through their repo auction. Asking price was full retail taken from ********. Car advertised as excellent condition. Brought it home the next the check engine light came on. I co tasted them immediately. They called it an unfortunate coincidence. Turns out the car had not catalytic converters which caused the check engine light. And since the car was purchased in that condition but the check engine light was not on, the code had to have e been cleared. Now $3000 in repairs later they claim no wrongdoing on their part and offer no remedy. Basically they are refusing to take responsibility on principle. They claim no tor be a car dealership but ask full retail price on cars that according to them have had absolutely no mechanical inspection.America First Credit Union
