We had a represenative come to our door a little less than a year ago begging us to sign up. He signed up my ******* who is elderly. We made sure to ask if she moved if she could get out of the contract without a fee, he of course said yes. I was sitting there during the whole conversation to make sure she would not get taken advantage of. My grandma has now sold her house and is moving to ****** to do a service mission. She is unable to transfer the because THEY do not service in ******. They are charging her a fee to close out her account. We were happy with the service until it comes to this. We will never recommend this company to anyone and will continue to fight this until it is waved.

      Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us. The early termination fee has been waived for your account. Please note that our agreement states that accounts canceled prior to the end date are required to be charged the early termination fee to account for the discounted monthly or quarterly. However, your satisfaction is important to us.

      Thank you,

I was contacted by a door to door pest control salesman in August (by Duanavan J****** AKA Donny) working for Greenline. I told him I could not afford the services, as I am a teacher and I'm moving in November. He offered to give me a discount of the initial start up fee (something in the hundreds). I can't afford it. He then offered to waive it completely ($69). I told him I still wouldn't be able to afford the cancelation fee ($279). He told me that, because I was moving to Oregon, and they don't offer services in Oregon, they would waive the cancelation fee. I took his word for it and signed up. When they charged my card the initial $69, he "waived it" by venmoing me $69 from his personal bank account. I received the initial service and then was charged $50 monthly, as agreed. Now it's November and I am moving to Oregon. I called to cancel my account, only to find out that they do not waive the cancelation fee for people moving out of state. The salesperson lied (or perhaps wasn't trained properly?) and now I'm short on rent. I am aware of the documents that I signed, but I took Donny's word, thinking that he was giving me access to a special deal, just as he had done to get me to sign up in the first place. This company swindled me and they should be responsible for their employee's actions and promises.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because there is an obvious discrepancy between how your employees are trained and how you conduct business. I have it in writing from an employee that I should receive a waiver for moving out of state. I have two conflicting agreements on behalf of the company. You cannot pick and choose which one to follow. I demand that there be an explanation for why this has happened. Are you training your employees to deceive customers? How do you justify what has happened? This is not a case of me misreading the documents. This is a case of lies and deceit on behalf of your company. I demand some form of retribution.

      Sincerely,

      ********* *****

      Hello April,

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you did not have a positive experience with our company. Looking at your account, I can see that you signed the service subscription agreement on July 8 2024 and recieved your first service on July 10 2024 at 9:25 am by our service technician, Brendan. Additionally, we have a video of you agreeing to a 24 month service subscription. I am happy to send you these documents and recordings.

We would be happy to refund your payments, however, you presently have not paid your balance of $134.00. Please call our office at your earliest convenience to remedy this situation. As a small family-owned business, reviews like this are very damaging. We understand that customers can sometimes have remorse after purchases, but I know that you will be very satisfied with the results. We have superior service serive and products as well as excellent customer service.

Please contact us as soon as you can so that we can clear up this lapse in communication.

      I am rejecting this because.
I reached out to you before service started. I was assured by the sales guy, that if idecided against moving forward that i would not be charged for breaking contract. I did that. No service was done on my property. I also had my husband reach out and you refunded 134 dollars of the 260 something that was taken out of my acount. I am very dissapointed in the lies i was told. I do not wish to usr your services and i want my money bsck. I dont believe i owe you anything. In fact of i cpuld afford an attorney i would ask for damages. This caused me not to be able to pay my full car payment. I had to dispute charges through my bank. Its caused alot of un needed stress. So  respectfully decline.

      Sincerely,

      April Spear

      Hello April,

After reveiwing your accout, I can see that you signed an agreement with a video welcome call outline the terms of your agreement (which we have emailed to you). In both the contract and the welcome call, you agreed to an early termination fee of $279 as is the case with most subscription services. You signed the agreement on on July 8, 2024 and received your intial service on July 10, 2024. Please note that you were not charged the early termination fee even though you agreed to it twice.

We are fully aware that our customers are our greatest asset and your satisfaction is our greatest priority. We are very discouraged to see that while we did in fact complete our agreement as indicated in the document you signed, you did not by refusing to pay not only the early termination fee you agreed to, but also the payment for the service you received. We are a small family business and customers who do not pay for services paid damage our company greatly.

We would love for you to call into our office and rectify this situation. Thank you so much for your feedback.

      Best Regards.

I signed up for pest solution services earlier this year, with the sales representative claiming he was part owner telling me that they specialized in wasp and mosquitos as both are a nuisance in our area. We signed a one year commitment, with the company listing out the number of times they would treat the home and stating that if the treatments did not address concerns they would come out at anytime to remedy. There have now been 4 instances where they have not held up to their end of the contract by missing scheduled appointments, not remedying pest issues (wasp nests) to the point where I personally had to spray and kill the nests they were supposed to have treated. Based on them not meeting their contractual obligations and commitments I have asked to cancel services with the contract fee being null and void due to them faulting. The company refuses to take any responsibility for their actions after admitting they have fallen short. I am looking for them to uphold their end of the contract and cancel the services with no early termination fee for their breach of contract.

The salesmen came out representing a company called Greenway pest control. Was told they'd come out monthly and was given a monthly rate. They had me sign on an i-pad and was told they'd email the contract at end of day. Turns out they bill monthly but only come out every 3 months. Billed from a company called Evergreen $60 a month and tried cancelling since October but kept getting the run around. continued to get billed. Finally was told they'd cancel the contract but was billed $200 for terminating what was a 2 year agreement. They go by Greenline Pest Green Way pest and Evergreen Pest. I sent emails, test messages, and had over 5 calls and kept getting told that they'd hold services and no bills, then would get an email stating the tech would come out to conduct the service. He only came out twice since June. Was billed over $560 for 2 services. Then harassing calls about me needing to pay for 2 years.

In May Greenway showed up at my door wanting to sell me a 12 month subscription service. I told them repeatedly that we did not want it. But I agreed to a one time $40 trial service. I signed what I understood was for that and to authorize the $40 payment to my credit card. Today (8/3/23) I learned that I actually signed the 12 month contract. When we called about the bait and switch they would not cancel without a $310 fee. They claim they emailed me the contract for review and I emailed back a signed contract. I never got that email. One of the two documents they emailed me as proof of the signed contract is my signature (from what I thought was for the one time service). The second document is not how I sign my name at all. All they would offer to do is give us a discount or close the account and charge us $310, which is what they did.

I was approached at home by a sales person to discuss pest and weed control. The sales team came in, inspected the house, and drew up a contract. I paid them several hundred dollars up front and scheduled a first treatment. When they arrived, much to my surprise, They disclosed that their treatment chemicals were not compatible around animals. They were in my home before and saw that I have several animals and did not indicate it would be a problem. I immediately asked them to cancel services as I can’t use them in my home. They have now refused to cancel until I give them an additional $400. They continue to send me bills. They said that they will not release me from the contract even though their chemicals are unsafe in my home.

I thought I was signing up for monthly pest control at $64 mon. They showed up one time, when I called the next month, they said it was only every other month. When I called on 6/21/2022, they said it was Quarterly serrvice. Later in that conversation, Victor S. said it was an Insurance or Warranty policy where they responded to my call first. I agreed to none of that. I told Victor S. that no one from his company is to set foot upon my property from 6/21/22 forward. They continually said they had a signed contract and threatened my credit rating if I did not pay. In order to have a contract, one must first have a meeting of the minds. I never agreed to a bi-monthly service while paying a monthly bill, I never agreed to a quarterly service while still paying a monthly bill. They have drastically changed the conditions of the service and now have added on an extra charge to discontinue the service. They said there would be a monthly fee of $64, however, they have attempted to charge me $578.51 in slightly over one month. This indicates that this was a totally fraudulent scheme from the beginning. So, far, They successfully charged my credit card $188.78 on 5/12/22; and $64.73 on 6/12/22. When I saw these charges and called them and heard their story, I immediately shut down the credit card before they attempted the charge of $325 on 6/22. I would like: 1.) restitution of all money paid out in the amount of $253.51, 2). protection from any damaging credit report. 3.) A restraining order restraining any employee, salesman, contractor or anyone else performing business for Greenway Pest Solutions, Greenline Pest Solutions, Evergreen Pest Solutions or any other entity performing their business from contact with my property, family, or me. 4). a restraining order restraining Greenway, Evergreen, Greenline. from processing any further debits to my credit cards or bank accounts, or employing any credit collection agency for the same.

I enrolled with pest services with greenway June of 2020. At the time of enrollment I told the rep that I did not want to enter into a contract since I was a renter and did not want to be stuck in the event that we moved. I was repeatedly assured that if we moved that we would be able to break the 24 month agreement. Fast forward to 23 months later I am moving out of state and contacted the company and they refuse to release me from agreement. Insisting to charge me the 36.00 for a month that I will no longer be in the state. I spent 4 days trying to resolve this with company and they have not honored their end of the commitment. In addition to this I asked them to furnish the agreement and they sent me a portion of agreement that did NOT have my signature or initials on it. It was signed by someone who was NOT me. I can verify that the signature is in fact not mine. Not only did they not fulfill the terms of agreement that I was given, but they have a contract that is not actually even signed by me. It is incredibly disappointing after me fulfilling my end of agreement for 23 of the 24 months that they are choosing to not fulfill theirs.
