  One of Ion Solars salesmen came to my house and rang the doorbell and knocked on the door, even though right above the doorbell theres a sign clearly posted that says No Soliciting. This resulted in my dog barking and waking up my baby who was napping. Not to mention I was working and in the middle of a call. I confronted the guy and he told me that he wasnt selling anything. I obviously wasnt happy and said some not so nice things to him but then responds back to me with eff you, (without the censorship). Now, should I have said what I said? No. But how does this guy have the gall to try and talk back to me and swear back at me when he had clearly violated my posted request of no solicitors and in doing so had bothered my dog, baby, and me at my job? He then proceeds to record me and tries to bait me into fighting him, calling me a tough guy and telling me he was going to post me on the internet. Thats fine. But coming to my home, disturbing my peace, and being unprofessional is not.

  It has been an absolutely horrible displeasure working with this company. This process initially started back in February, and now, 6 months later, they still haven't finished what they started. Between the project manager not answering calls or returning messages or replying to texts, and the crew who simply DOES NOT SHOW UP when they're scheduled to show up, this sorry excuse for a company has dropped the ball at least a dozen times. So here I am, 6 months later, now paying for my full electric **** AND the loan that was taken out for this inoperable solar equipment. In fact, this service has been so bad, I deliberately go out of my way to tell all of my friends and neighbors to avoid this company. DO NOT use ION Solar.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! Please RUN FROM THIS COMPANY! Everyone from the sales reps to the people answering the phones in the customer service office are liars and are ONLY out to get a sale! They may seem like they care and they will fake it all the way until installationafter that GOOD LUCK! I have read so many reviews complaining about the exact same thing we are going through. We got Ion solar panels installed in April 2022. Since then we have still been receiving bills from NV Energy; which is not what we were expecting as our sales rep **** informed us that we would only be receiving a **** from NV ENERGY totaling $13.00-$14.00 for a service fee. As a 13 year property manager I asked dozens of questions to make sure we would NOT still be responsible for a huge **** due to NV Energy. **** absolutely lied and this has not been the case as we are still receiving normal bills from NV Energy as we were before we got Ion solar panels installed. I have contacted their office several times requesting to speak to a supervisor about all of this and all three times I was told a supervisor was busy and would call me back. No one has ever called me back which is beyond upsetting and unprofessional. My most recent call was Friday 8/12/2022. I was told a supervisor would call me back and no one did. I have mailed invoices to their office over a week ago and was told they have never received them. Basically calling me a liar as if I didnt drop the envelope off at the post office myself! We also have contacted NV Energy as well and was informed that we are not producing enough energy. I am not sure what the issue is but Ion Solar has done nothing to try and get this all resolved other than blow me and my husband; a veteran, off. We would have NEVER gotten solar panels if we were going to still have to pay a large **** to NV Energy. I honestly believe Ion Solar is ONLY out for the money and doesnt care about the customer once they receive the check.

  Harassment by ION Solar employees. Yesterday the 4th of August 2 employees of Ion Solar came to my home pushing solar installation. I told them politely that I was not interested and asked them to leave my property. They ignored my request and kept up the hard sell of Solar panels, I asked them again to leave my property they refused. I again politely asked them to leave and they continued the hard sell. Finally, I told them that if they didn't leave I would release my dog, and that I did not want anyone from their company to return. They finally left. Today at approximately **** another representative of Ion solar came to my door, after saying that I was't interested and that I told the 2 salesmen from yesterday that I did't want anyone from Ion Solar on my property and asked this salesman to leave my property he refused and continued his hard sell. I finally threatened that I would get my shot gun and force him to leave. At this point he decided it was probably in his best interest to leave my property. I do not understand how the City gives these hucksters a permit to harass the citizens of this city. How can I trespass this company from my property?

  Ion Solar foot representatives are claiming to "follow up on a net metering notice from PG&E", initially suggesting affiliation with PGE, but are canvassing the neighborhood, violating City ordinance-compliant "No Solicitation" signage, are claiming that they are not selling anything (solar panels), are refusing to identify the company with whom they work upon initial request, and are being grossly disrespectful to the homeowner upon request to exit the property. They do not work for PGE, are not dispatched by PGE and are not provided your energy consumption by PGE, yet they are attempting to qualify their appearance accordingly and under the guise that no sales are involved.I phoned PGE to confirm and also called Ion to advise of the encounter. The toll-free representative denied canvassing and insisted it was not their company, as no person by the name of ***** was employed in door-to-door sales efforts. As I later collected my mail, I found the ********* of which ***** was a part. I confirmed with the young female that they did, indeed, work for Ion Solar. I was verbally harassed on my return home by ***** after restating the situation. When I phoned Ion Solar again to advise of the secondary encounter, I was provided a phone number for manager ****************** and was told that he would be expecting my call. ********* voice-mail was full, and I was unable to leave a message.I work from home and have done my due diligence to avoid trespassers, salespeople and unwanted interruptions. I feel disrespected and violated when salespeople choose to ignore signage and /or lie as to their intentions, not to mention incorporating blatant, undue rudeness into the equation. All is documented on Ring video.Given my encounters, I would heavily advise against any type of engagement or business agreement with this company.

  We have had an excellent experience with ION Solar in our ********** ******** area. It has been wonderful working with their amazing team of professionals from initial contact through installation. *************************** Lead Coordinator Specialist and ***************************** Energy Consultant are to very knowledgeable professionals who really know the process from initial design through installation. They took the time to answer our all of our questions and address any concerns we had going in. Besides explaining the benefits of having an ION Solar system installed their technical knowledge and ability to clearly explain everything so we understood what was involved and why. They went into detail as to the best solar panel configuration for our home based on the yearly position to the sun with unobstructed sunlight. ION Solar regularly updated us on project status and explained up front that it takes time and for our area involves HOA approvals, in addition to county licenses and inspections and coordinating with Dominion Energy. Their installation team of technicians and electricians were also amazing. They did an outstanding job of installing the solar panels and electrical components in only one day. They were efficient, explained what they would be doing and were very respectful of our property. Communication from the whole ION Solar team has been clear and constant throughout. Bottom line this is an outstanding company with great people and we highly recommend ION Solar to everyone we know.
