Advertising showed up on FB. We lost our son a year ago on June 29th. Decided this looked perfect to honor him on the anniversary of him leaving us. Yesterday we received a text saying it was canceled and rescheduled and relocated to GA for 07/13 over 100 miles away. There is no number to call anyone, just emails. This broke our hearts. This company needs to be completely shut down!

On June 9, 2024, I purchased 2 tickets to the Lights Fest to be held at the Talledega Super Speed in Alabama on Saturday, June 29, 2024 for $192.37. I received an email today that the event had been rescheduled "due to unforeseen issues with the venue". The location is 4+ hours away from where I live and on a weekend I have to work; therefore I am unable to attend. After reading through the multiple comments and complaints on Facebook and here at BBB, I feel like this is a scam. I have submitted a request for a refund, I will follow up as to whether I receive it.

I purchased 7 tickets for the Jacksonville Florida swow for December 2, 2023, the price of the tickets was $333.72 dollars. They sent me emails canceling the event on 2 occasions and told me to wait for the rescheduling. I got tired of waiting and made the request for a refund twice and never received a response. When reading so many complaints about this company, I feel scammed and I would like to have legal support to be able to sue this company that is not serious and does not comply with the agreed commitments.

On 3/4/2024 I purchased tickets to The Lights Festival taking place in Charlotte NC on 3/9/2024 the tickets costed $146.78, including in that amount was $3.99 for each ticket that I paid for the refund protection plan. On 3/7/2024 The Lights Festival sent an automated email stating that the festival had been postponed to 5/18/2024 a date which I will not be available for. On 3/18/2024 I went through their refund request option and received a confirmation that they received the request. It has been almost 2 months now I have sent countless emails and filed another refund request and I haven't received a single response from The Lights Festival. On 4/1/2024 I started a dispute claim with Capital One since I purchased it with a Capital One Quicksilver credit card. I went through alot of back and forth, I provided documents proving The Lights Festival states in there policy that I'm entitled to a refund but Capital One sided with the merchant. The only information The Lights Festival provided Capital One was a receipt of the purchase, I provided the refund protection plan policy as well as my receipt proving that I purchased the protection plan. The refund protection plan states that if purchased the customer is entitled to a full refund for any reason. I don't understand how much more plain and simple it can be but somehow Capital One decided that The Lights Festival doesn't owe me a refund. I had made a claim on Capital One with the CFPB and Capital One stated that The Lights Festival had the right to deny me my refund because of their policy which clearly doesn't add up with the documents I provided, the same documents I acquired off The Lights Festival's website. I am entitled to a refund in full for the $146.78 I am requesting help since The Lights Festival will not respond to me. I'm not sure if they lied to Capital One or if Capital One just didn't do their research. I will be attaching my receipt and their refund protection plan policy. Thank you.

Purchased two tickets to the Oklahoma City event April 2024. The even was canceled and is yet to be rescheduled. All other events are obviously not nearby or reasonable distance. The company also charges $30for parking which you are unaware of until AFTER PURCHASE. this fee is astronomical for our area, even for downtown events ie concerts, games etc. This company preys upon communities, and good people. I would like my ticket fees refunded in hopes of never dealing with this “company” again. As they are already preying upon poor communities offering postive joyful events which is just a cover to steal, I am not surprised that no lawsuit YET exists due to the populations they prey upon. Please refund our money as they were purchased in good faith and we are real families that you are stealing from.

UPDATE: WRONG YEAR ENTERED PRIOR On February 28th 2024, I was scrolling down Facebook and came across what looked like a lovely date idea for me and my wife, while we were in a rough spot in our marriage. We ended up spending 192.37 for the date night package, which included 2 adult tickets, lantern decorating kits and ability to bring friends/family for discounted rates. It seemed like the best deal since each ticket was around 50 dollars. I don't remember each and every specific detail but I am doing my damnedest best here. When I itinually hit purchase I received a fraud alert from my credit card but just assumed that because it was online purchase, it was questionable. I went ahead and re-submitted the order before reviewing Facebook comments. It appears that this company is creating fake ads for fake events that ultimately do not take place all across the US. There are tons of comments that say SCAM and DO NOT BUY etc etc etc. I have reported the ad MULTIPLE TIMES to Facebook. There is a clause in the agreement that states, If the event is rescheduled within 60-90 days again I do not remember exact specifics, the event is non refundable. This is simply a perpetuation of said scam. If you were to dispute a credit card charge in may for a February purchase, you have no leg to stand on. I went ahead and disputed the credit card because something seemed off and the comments told me to. I wouldn't even be here if these scam artists just accepted the loss, however they have pushed back on the dispute, to hold on the theft.

For the Sacramento event, it was previously on October 21, 2023. Emails were sent from this company that the event was relocated. After the company found a place to relocate, they then postponed the Sacramento event on October 19 and offered refunds if you could not schedule a new location by 90 days. The new location was informed on February 18, 2024. Between October 19 and February 18, that is 122 days. I have sent multiple emails regarding this to the company and they have not responded. Due to their terms agreed upon purchase and promise in their email and in the image provided below, I have a right to a refund.

Hello, I had purchased two tickets for this event currently scheduled on 4/20. They had already rescheduled once from the original event date in March. During the purchase, I had paid extra for the refund protection plan, guaranteeing me a full refund if needing to cancel. I submitted a claim as per their instructions on their website, receiving an automated receipt stating someone will get back to me in 2 business days. It has been over 10 as of today and absolutely no response, despite sending 3-4 inquiries. I started researching online and this organization seems notorious for this. I even see cases where they reschedule/cancel entire events and never reimbursing those that paid for the tickets (with refund protections) *********************************************************

Purchased three tickets to the Lights Fest Kansas City event which was to be held in Warrensburg, MO on 3/30. The company moved the event to 4/20 and notified me by email. I have a family wedding that day and so can not go. I emailed requesting my money back. The company said it can move the event whenever it wants and if I can’t go that’s my problem and will not refund my money back. If you hire someone to perform a service on a specific date at a specific time that is the contract. If the company can not fulfill that, they need to return funds paid. From what I read it seems they do this a lot. I wish I would have read up on the company before purchasing. If it’s not a scam, it’s deceptive business practices. I want others to be aware and hopefully save them some money. I am also filing a consumer complaint with the state of Missouri.
