      I’m going to start by saying that I check my credit score often I know all my bills that I need to pay off. Well apon trying to take my 1 yr old son to the doctor they turn him down because I apparently have a balance in collections with them. I double check my credit accounts that are reported to transunion and Equafax. None show that I have been billed or reported. I also called other locations to see if I had owed with them. The only location that says I have a balance is one in Lehi Utah… also the agent said she was a manager and in HR. I never asked for HR mind you it was the first person I talked to..

      We just recently received your letter dated April 26, 2024 that is why this response is late. We called the customer up to get more information in addition to our internal research. It was discovered that on the initial call, we made an error on which account we were looking at. We called the customer and explained that we made that error and informed them they could be seen in our offices. The customer seemed satisfied with our response.

      I went in for a standard physical. I was clear to only do work that would be covered as a standard preventive appointment by the insurance company. I was offered bloodwork. I told them only if it would be covered as a standard preventative. I was assured by the staff that it would be. I had the blood work done. When they submitted it to the insurance company it was not covered. I explained to them that I would have not done this service if it was not covered. They offered to retrain their staff on how to handle insurance questions but are unwilling to do anything about the charge of 22.42 on my bill. If they want to be paid they should take that up with the insurance company as their staff told me it would be covered. At best this was incompetence from their staff. At worst they are doing medical work not needed and overcharging the customer. I requested all my PHI information to determine how they recommended blood work for me over 30 days ago and I received no response. So as I understand it they are also in violation of HIPPA laws for not providing me my information on why bloodwork was recommended.
