Booked a stay with Days Inn by Wyndham online from August 6 through August 11. Their site says early check in available but does not indicate an additional fee for checking in early. When we arrived we were told checking in between 1-2pm would be a charge of $14. We needed to get the kids settled into the room and our luggage inside so we paid this fee. The hotel has "eco friendly" signs in the rooms one of which indicates beds will be made daily and bedding changed every three days. On Wednesday morning I pulled the corner off on of the beds to avoid an overnight accident from my son seeping through to the mattress. We left for the day and didn't return until 130am Thursday. I put both boys to bed and didn't think much else of the beds being made but one not having a bed cover over the top. It was late (or early) and we needed sleep and I assumed housekeeping sent it to be cleaned and didn't have a new one on hand when changing the bedding. Found out Saturday there was a charge pending for $40, day after we checked out. I called and spoke with Tyler, explained it was for missing bedding. He advised call back talk to manager Max. Spoke with Max Sunday and Tuesday. he refused to refund the charge insisting I stole their bedding because it wasn't there when I checked out. I advised him it wasn't there since Wednesday night after bedding was changed. He said all laundry is outsourced and they wouldn't get that bed cover back. I again stated I didn't take it he insists I did even though he can not confirm it wasn't sent out with the laundry.
